All Things After His Will
We, as Spirit-born children of Yahweh, should be willing to submit our lives to his love, wisdom and care.
Yahweh did not consider our wills when he laid the plans of creation. He could not consider them because of our lack. Even at the present stage of development, our decisions and judgments are inadequate and undependable because of our limited understanding and lack of foresight.
Paul said Yahweh preconceived his plan and put it into action, even before we were brought forth. He purposed to do all things according to “his own” wisdom: “According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption (son placing) of children by Yasha Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,” Ephesians 1:4-5.
Having been placed into this realm of confusion, sorrow and death, with a limited vision, we sometimes question the wisdom of the Almighty. It is then that we turn to him for reassurance of his love and foresight.
Vision, Faith and Action
Faith in Yahweh’s love and care is the key ingredient. But how limited is our faith? Our spiritual growth is governed by the measure of our faith. Limited faith produces limited actions; limited actions produce limited results. Our achievement is governed by our faith. Our faith is dependent upon our vision, but our appetite controls our vision.
We subconsciously send out vibrations to those we come in contact with. We either send out life or death vibrations. In turn we receive or reject vibrations that are emanating from others. Through this interaction with others, we reinforce the spirit’s power that influences our thought pattern, or vision.
We were made of earthly substance, but we are certainly more than clay. We were activated and energized by the breath (Life-force) of the Creator when he breathed his breath (the Spirit of life) into our nostrils. We have continued to be active whether for evil or for good.
The spirit-creature is limited in the same manner we limit our children. We produce children that are void of information, and they become precious little vessels that we can fill with choice information or fill with corruption—we choose. Likewise, our Spirit birth brings us into the heavenly realm void of spiritual information. This lack of spiritual information limits our choice of wise responses and success for a while. The faster we gain spiritual information, the faster we become matured sons and daughters of Yahweh.
The Spirit Gives Life
Some new-born Christians seem to feed and grow faster than others. Apostle Paul is an example of this. Paul had knowledge of Word, but understood it with his carnal mind. Once the Spirit of Truth came and quickened that Word unto him, he could act upon the Anointed Word faster than someone that had no knowledge of the Word within to be made alive.
Before his conversion, Paul used the Word as a sword of destruction and death, but as that Word became energized and made alive by the Spirit of Life within him, it became a River of Life flowing out unto eternal Life.
Many people within the Church have information that has not been made alive in them because they have not, as yet, accepted the Spirit of truth; this information becomes death to them and to others around them. Just as the Word was perverted by the serpent in the garden, so the information within us becomes perverted by our carnal spirit when we do not possess the Spirit of Truth.
We, the children of Yahweh, continue to groan and travail in spirit, even after we have received some revelation, just as the whole creation is travailing and waiting for the true manifestation of Life (Rom. 8:18-23).
There is a measure of truth that all people receive that makes us know when we are in violation of the Law of Love, “That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not,” St. John 1:9. The smallest measure of truth demands that we learn more truth, but our carnal reasoning blinds and binds us (Rom. 7:23) because it is so dependent on the world order and controlled by self-will.
Yasha was anointed to break the bars of our captivity (Lu. 4:18, 19), and it is necessary that we accept this deliverance (2 Cor. 6:2).
When the Savior came to earth, he brought to light life and immortality through the Gospel (2 Tim.1:10). Salvation is enlightenment of the mind. Salvation is not forced upon us in this present age, it is a matter of choice (Heb. 3:12-14).
Today is the day of salvation, i.e. enlightenment, and receiving it produces an instant reaction. But do not make the mistake of limiting it to the trivial things that harm us: cigarettes, drugs, liquor, cursing, etc. Salvation is progressive and probes deep within the recesses of the mind to remove the hidden things of the heart that have so corrupted and controlled our motives and actions.
The Truth Will Make Us Free
Salvation must be allowed to permeate the whole being and fill it with light. Salvation (being saved) can be seen in many degrees. One may have been saved from the slow death of nicotine or the destruction of the brain cells by alcohol. One could experience being saved from pain and heartbreak brought on by careless living, or the effects of some dreadful disease, financial disaster, or domestic problems. Any or all of these can be part of our salvation, but salvation is made complete when Truth permeates our mind until we are one with it. “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that you put on the new man which after Yahweh is created in righteousness and true holiness,” Ephesians 4:23, 24. “… but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind …,” Romans 12:2.
We walk, or progress, according to the measure of our faith (believing). We must believe to receive. Our Lord said, “All things are possible to him that believes,” Mark 9: 23. “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For let not that man think he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways,” James 1:6, 8.
The expression “saved” is used too loosely in this present time. We can be saved from many things, but complete salvation will not come until we are loosed from our own carnal reasoning.
In the leading evangelistic circle, the modern thought seems to lay greater emphasis on material or physical blessings, so that our attention is drawn to ourselves and our individual needs and away from character and the necessity of individual development and winning others to Christ.
The Call to Witness
When the Savior reminded the disciples of the coming of the promise (the Holy Spirit), he laid the greater emphasis on becoming witnesses. The Greek word here translated “witnesses” is “martus,” from which comes our English word “martyr.” “…wait for the promise of the Father, which, says he, You have heard of me, For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence…. but you shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you; and you shall be witnesses unto me…,” Acts 1:4, 5, 8.
The Life that flows out of an anointed believer is the same energy-force that will save those that are taken captive (caught alive) by the devil (2 Tim. 2:26).
The adversary wages a mind war. He is that accusing force in the mind of sincere, dedicated believers that continually send them on guilt trips—even when they are trying with all that is within them to do the right thing. He also will put every church member on trial and condemn them in our minds if we will allow him to do so.
If we are to war successfully, we must fill our minds with Bible truth and then use it to “…cast down imaginations, (carnal reasoning) and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Yahweh, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (the Anointed Word),” 2 Corinthians 10:5.
The devil’s choice ammunition against creation is to use a half truth, or truth that is warped to change its meaning. By using this method, the carnal mind is able to present a religion that is perfectly compatible with the reasoning of their unregenerated mind. This method of presenting the Gospel sounds good to the non-spiritual mind, but it hides or attempts to pervert the truth by bringing it out of the Spirit realm and down to the word level.
Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing
Since the creation of man, there has been an active spirit of deception, but the deceivers and corruptors within the Christian assemblies are not righteous examples in the time in which we live. This catastrophe is fueled by the multitudes of racketeers that disguise themselves as the evangelists of the hour, with a message they claim has come “straight from the mouth of God.”
Sin, outside the assembly, cannot alter the structure and the strength of the Church, but when sin takes root in the assembly, its structure begins to crumble. Sin and evil fills the earth today, but we are no longer dealing with sin outside the assembly or even with a weak laity. There are leaders of high esteem among the laity who have persuaded the people that churches are places of entertainment and merry making—places to appease the fleshly appetites of the base nature. Wrong concepts and misplaced values have followed, so that the churches are now willing to pay high prices for professional entertainers to perform in the place of the Holy Spirit leadership, which dulls the voice of the Spirit and appeases the conscience, leaving them free to accept the “status quo.”
The laity of many modern churches has no concept of the deteriorated condition of their values and they become irate at the least suggestion that there might be a problem in that direction.
Why has the Almighty stood quietly by and allowed this awful condition to exist and worsen? The answer is obvious! The time has come to bring the true believers to the front. But they must first go through a fire that is heated seven-fold. Then, and only then, will the prince of the Babylonian system be able to gaze into the furnace and behold the one like the Son of Yahweh walking in the midst of the prophets.
