“Let it be your ambition to live at peace with all men and to achieve holiness, without which no man will see the Lord.
“Be careful that none of you fail to respond to the grace which Yahweh gives, for if you do, there can very easily spring up in you a bitter spirit which is not only bad in itself, but can also poison the lives of many others.
“Be careful, too, that none of you fall into impurity or lose your reverence for the things of Yahweh and then, like Esau, are ready to sell your birthright to satisfy the momentary appetites of the body. Remember how afterwards, when he wanted to have the blessing which was his birthright, he was refused. He never afterwards found the way of repentance, though he sought it desperately and with tears,” Hebrews 12:14-17.
There is much hidden glory in the types and shadows of the Old Testament scriptures concerning the birthright, but some are revealed to us in the New Testament, especially in the book of Hebrews.
The book of Hebrews emphasizes Christ as the forerunner and pattern son. It also reveals Christ’s Melchizedek Priesthood and our call into it. It draws our attention to the weakness and failure of the law, reminds us of the veil, and calls us on into perfection by showing us how that veil (the flesh) was rent. We can now enter into that glory if we are willing to come under the corrective rod of the Word, so that we follow Christ, our forerunner, into the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
All who follow the leading of the Spirit of Christ are Yahweh’s own sons (Rom. 8:14). We are confident that Yahweh’s Spirit has been upon the Church all through the past ages. He has led her into the present light she now enjoys just as his Spirit will continue to overshadow and protect the Church until he presents her unto himself a glorious Church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing.
From the beginning, Yahweh has called and separated nation from nation and people from people, but surely not without a purpose. Yahweh’s preordained purpose in all the ages is to (in the ages to come) manifest his Spirit and word of Life in all flesh. For this purpose he invites all—but only a remnant will hear his voice and come. Dressed in robes of his righteousness, this priesthood, or elect company, will reveal Yahweh’s holiness, purity, truth, mercy, justice, love, and purpose in his creation by becoming a holy manifestation.
Many are now falsely claiming to be manifested sons, but when Yahweh’s manifestation is in the earth it will reveal Yahweh’s power and purity. If we are bound by sin and circumstances, we cannot at the same time manifest a God that is the almighty source of all that is called holiness.
The Church, even though Yahweh has moved mightily in her through the gift realm, has produced chaos and confusion and has manifested the works of the flesh more often than the fruit of the Spirit. Looking at the division, money-grabbers and kingdom-builders within her structure, one sees no sign of the glory that is to come, but Yahweh creates all things by his word, and the word has gone out of his mouth and shall not return unto him void.
The Kingdom of Yahweh will be manifest in the earth—nothing can hinder or prevent it. However; the Kingdom of Yahweh cometh not with observation, neither is it meat and drink, but righteousness, joy, and peace in the Holy Ghost (Lu. 17:20 and Rom. 14:17).
