Creating Images In the Mind
Because Yahweh is Spirit, communicating about Spirit revealed truth is very difficult. All things that are seen can be described because they are concrete, or tangible— such as animal, vegetation, or mineral, but spiritual things can only be felt; therefore, they are not easily described.
Yahweh is Spirit—an unseen energy force that is changing emotional vibrations of spiritual intelligence and developing his children into pure light, or revealed truth.
The word Yahweh draws a mental picture in the mind when the sound (or vibrations) of his name is spoken or when his character is described. But each person draws his/her own mental image, or picture, and each image will differ in some respect. Our images of Yahweh can differ dramatically depending upon our attitude about right and wrong. An abused or neglected child can, and often does, connect this word with unreasonable authority, and abuse; therefore, they have a contemptible image.
If a multitude of believers were told, “Yahweh loves you,” every one of them would agree with the statement, but according to the mental picture they have created of the meaning of this phrase.
Yahweh: With each of the believers the word “Yahweh” could reflect a different image, ranging from detestable to exceedingly adorable.
Love: Many people do not have the slightest concept of the true meaning of love; therefore, they must depend upon an image that has been created by their life experiences. If everyone had a correct image, they would experience love and happiness.
We live in a society where it is common for fathers and mothers to feel little or no genuine love for their children. A child that receives no love from the people in their social environment cannot know the meaning of love, not even on a human level, until they experience it later through other avenues. Such a person could hold images from indifference to brutality, but those who have been spoiled and pampered will understand pampering and spoiling to be the manifestation, or substance, of love. No one can have a correct image of Love (Yahweh) except those that have received the understanding through the Spirit of Truth.
You: Most of us know less about our true self than we know about our next door neighbor, because it is difficult to discipline oneself and more difficult to face reality if we do not. But the problem in knowing self in connection with the love of Yahweh goes much deeper than facing reality about our actions. We must understand what it is about us that Yahweh loves or at least know that Yahweh does not love on the human level.
Carnal creatures love things or people that make them feel good and they often reject unsightly things, all unpleasant things, and people who create problems. Therefore, they feel that Yahweh loves them for their personality, beauty, talent, or intelligence. So that convincing these people that Yahweh loves them could be understood as Yahweh’s approval of their selfishness and pride. Others, who have rejected themselves as unacceptable, ugly, and hopeless creatures, after having become convinced Yahweh loves them, tend to accept his love as his acceptance of their inabilities and failures. When this happens, no improvement in character is sought.
Many years ago I attended a small country church for a while where the pastor’s image fit the above description. He thought of himself as ignorant and poor. He repeatedly stated this fact and assured us that God loved him because of his ignorance and inability. He is now retired; his progress in this lifetime quickly reached its pinnacle, but he is yet firmly clinging to an image of a god that loves him because he is poor, uneducated, and a hopeless social reject. Try explaining to these people that their Creator has the solution to all hindering problems, including ignorance, and instantly their brain begins to send out spirit messages, “Cannot compute! Cannot compute!”
It is most difficult for human beings to think of themselves as the unfinished workmanship of Yahweh. Some refuse to deal with the subject, others pretend they have always co-existed with Yahweh on equal bases; therefore, they are, and always have been, a finished product and flawless. But there is no cause for worry; someday they will be awakened to the fact that “…we are his workmanship, created in Christ Yasha unto good works, which Yahweh hath before ordained that we should walk in them,” Ephesians 2:10.
We must receive the Spirit of Christ before we are at a starting point of development into Christ. Without the Spirit of Christ, i.e. the Spirit of Love and Revelation, we remain carnally minded and as such we cannot understand the things of the Spirit. Receiving the Spirit does not guarantee us popularity, wealth, comfort, or friends on the human level, but it does guarantee us that we can become enlightened about the things of the Spirit realm. It provides the potential we need to develop into a higher concept of righteousness and goodness. It is our door into development into a hallowed habitation of holiness and happiness where death will not hinder or molest.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of Yahweh: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of Yahweh: Every spirit that confesses that Yasha Christ is come in the flesh is of Yahweh: And every spirit that confesses not that Yasha Christ is come in the flesh is not of Yahweh: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of Yahweh, little children, and have overcome them: ‘because greater is He that is in you,’ than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. We are of Yahweh: he that knows Yahweh hears us; he that is not of Yahweh hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of Yahweh; and every one that loves is born of Yahweh, and knows Yahweh. He that loves not knows not Yahweh; for Yahweh is love,” I John 4:1-8.
The authors of the modified versions of the Bible would have us believe that the words “in you” means, he is “among” you, but they have not dealt with the scripture that states: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints To whom Yahweh would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,” Colossians 1:26-27. Also the Gospel of John 14:15-28 deals with this subject: “If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas said unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
Yasha answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.”
We now conclude this message with the assurance that if any of our readers have failed to appropriate the grace that is sufficient to support them through life’s difficulties because of the false image they have of their Creator, we sincerely pray that they will have now gained ample understanding to experience the joy of their salvation and achieve their fulfillment in Christ. May the joy of the Lord radiate its glory through you and light the path you tread.
