Crowned with Glory
The effects of sin and death are plainly visible around us, but because we have never lived in an environment where these were not present, most of us accept them as a normal and necessary part of our existence. Having never exercised dominion, we are not troubled at not having it. We do not expect to see the word of Yahweh manifest in the earth, and we meekly submit to the status quo instead of believing the Word of our Father. We do not see those around us operating in the full capacity of the Spirit—how can we possibly imagine we can do differently?
Every word the Savior spoke has been tested and proven to be truly the words of our Creator. Healing and supernatural powers over the elements testify of his true identity.
Yasha exercised power over death when he walked as a man on earth and gave his followers the command to do likewise. Miracles identical to those that Yasha preformed have been experienced by millions of people in every generation. Miracles were evident through the Old Testament times, and most of the civilized world has witnessed them in our time. But because of the hardness of hearts, many church organizations will not allow the Holy Spirit to operate in the congregation through the gift realm, and they teach their people against the manifestation and demonstration of the Spirit of Life.
“The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these works that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the Body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one Body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one Body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit,” 1 Corinthians 12:7-13.
“He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned (judged). And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:16-17.
Our Savior spoke reality and truth, not just religious opinions. He spoke facts, not fantasy. In every matter, there are facts—example: the earth has an exact number of inches in land surface. If I thought it had twice as many, or believed it was half its size, my opinion could not change the facts—it would remain unaffected. Neither can a religious order based on ignorance change the Gospel message.
Our Master taught facts—the facts that will reprove the world of sin and bring restoration in its time. We are judged daily by the facts our Savior made manifest, as the whole of creation will experience in time.
In Genesis 1:26, Yahweh said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
Psalm 8:4: “What is man, that you art mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels (elohim), and have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet.”
In another place, it is written that we are heirs of Yahweh and joint heirs with his son (Rom. 8:17). As soon as the kings of the earth decide to exercise their rights, and receive the inheritance that our Savior died for us to receive, everything is going to start changing and the glory of Yahweh shall fill the earth as the waters cover the seas (Isa. 11:9).
If we want to enjoy the blessings and power of Yahweh’s Kingdom, the thing we must learn first is how to function in his Kingdom principles. His power in us is ineffective until we summit to the rule book and bow to its principle. Yet most Christians are offended when we make the slightest suggestion that we need to accept the principles Christ taught. The Lord revealed this to me years ago, and I had much less trouble in the outward than I did with crucifying the emotions. I would turn the other cheek, but after I did, it was hard for me not to feel resentment and hostility. But as sure as we are living, it is our emotions that cause our problems.
We must know and fully accept that we are not warring with flesh and blood, we are warring with spirits. Ephesians 6:10-18 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole amour of Yahweh, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of Yahweh, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench “all” the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Yahweh: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”
I hope you feel the same quickening in your spirit that I do when I read the above scripture. We know our task looks big and we know that in our own ability we will never be able to actually manifest the principle of Christ in our life, but we do not have to do it. The Holy Spirit will work that work in us as we stop resisting his Spirit of righteousness.
Above everything else, believe the Word. We should never allow the accuser of the brethren to make us feel that we are not loved and needed. We are truly valuable members of the Body of Christ; each of us being a joint which helps supply nourishment to the other joints. Yahweh will never leave us nor forsake us.
