Shall We Stop Here?
Even though its advocates were previously disfellowshipped by mainline Christianity, the message of “restoration of all” is now being accepted by millions of spiritually enlightened Christians.
We who have truly understood this revelation can never go back into the traditional concept of eternal torment or annihilation, and if we teach anything, we must build on this foundation. I make this statement on the grounds that once we have clearly understood the meaning of the Hebrew word “sheol” and the Greek words “Geheena” and “hades,” we lose the foundation that is needed to build the torment and annihilation theories. When we understood that the Greek “aion” did not mean eternal and could not correctly be taught that it did, we lost grounds for dealing with this subject on these terms; therefore, we had to move on into the living revelation.
The Spirit placed my focus on the word “all” and began to talk to my heart about activated love and its true consequences. I began to deal with the attributes of Love and Yahweh’s eternal power. I understood that Yahweh is love and that love will never fail and could never co-inhabit eternal pain.
I learned that Christ was not only our personal Savior, but that his sacrifice took away the sins of the world and that in so doing he became the Savior of all mankind (John 1:29). I marveled that we had been reconciled to our Father by the sacrifice of Yasha and that he was given the power to draw all men unto himself. I understood that a plan was set in action when Yahweh said, “Let there be light.”
I also learned that Yahweh’s plan was an ongoing plan that Adam did not hinder and the serpent did not and still cannot stop.
I understood what Paul meant when he told us that the revelation of universal salvation would be ratified in due season. “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of Yahweh our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between Yahweh and men, the man Christ Yasha; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,” 1 Timothy 2:3-6.
I understood the full meaning of predestination and no longer can limit the participators of it to “a clan,” “little cult” or “bigger cult.” I no longer tried to reconcile the concept of predestinated rejection with Abraham’s promise to become a “Blesser of all nations.” I read Revelations 5:13 and joined in with that eternal praise session. “And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”
I read the conditions of our inheritance in Romans eight and rejoiced when I understood that it also included the redemption of our mortal bodies. I saw the vastness of the scope of a redemptive plan and that the whole creation is waiting in travail for it to be brought to its full consummation. I said that I was more than willing to suffer with him that I might be numbered with the sons of Yahweh who must suffer the mortification of their flesh so that the world can, at last, behold the glory that is to be revealed through me.
Those who stepped out by faith and declared the truth of restitution soon learned something about the price one is required to pay for stepping out into newly revealed truth, or at least we did.
Most of us are aware that the things that frighten those who are bound in the traditional theory are the unanswered questions that hang over our ranks. They ask, “How do you deal with the sin question? So many go out of this world as wicked as a soul could be, are they saved?” The usual answer is a “Yes” that is left standing alone. This answer is, at its best, confusing and misleading. Now if we understand what “saved” means, we know that everyone that dies with a heart full of hatred is not about to find themselves treading the streets of gold anytime soon. That theory, if real, would turn heaven into another situation exactly like the world is experiencing, with one exception; this is not an endless situation, but that would be. It also sends a message that no change is required of the sinner. Yahweh becomes directly responsible for the very worst sins that the human mind can conceive. But try stepping out in faith in an effort to bring some wisdom that will harmonize with Love and will make sense out of the plan and see how many top position ministers land on your case.
I have talked to a few ministers who are seeing a broader scope of this revelation. At least I have heard enough to know that there are a few out there who are hearing a voice that is a pure word of wisdom. But who is willing to open an ear when they know that they are about to be slaughtered by their Christian associates?
When the Holy Spirit starts revealing a truth, we can count on Yahweh to prepare the masses for the message; even so, it is now being done in our time—truth is being proclaimed in the schools and by the media. Not only does the Holy Spirit awaken the masses, but he awakens his messengers that have ears to hear.
As I said before, too many people become gun shy after they have heard how loud the guns can sound off in close combat, and then they back off from facing the “big guns.” Will our generation have to pass on before the Lord can raise up messengers that will herald the message that makes restitution of all things compatible with wisdom? This revelation will be heralded in the next generation regardless of man’s efforts to prevent it. Look back, has the Church ever made a move forward without having to oppose mainline Christianity?
Most of us accept the revelation that there is a move beyond Pentecost. But let us not water it down by telling the Church they have it. They do not have it; because they do not have the signs following.
When the Lord started to pour his Spirit out, in restoration of Pentecost, a century ago, there were ministers that cried out, “Look no further, we have it all.” But thank Yahweh, there were those that just would not be denied. The result was the genuine experience that finally came with signs following. The saints knew when they received the Holy Spirit that he was genuine, and the world also knew. In just over a hundred years, more than a hundred million believers have stepped forward as witnesses that the outpouring of his Holy Spirit was to be seen and heard.
I am standing on the front line doing everything I can to keep my ears and eyes open, and I confess, so far I have seen no signs of a visible change, not even in my own life. I was filled with the Holy Spirit on October 8, 1955; there were about a hundred people kneeling together, with their hands raised in worship, that were also filled with the Holy Spirit within five minutes. The power of Yahweh was so strong that people were receiving the Holy Spirit infilling with the evidence of speaking with tongues throughout the crowd. There were people accepting salvation, people being healed, miracles, and diversities of dramatic demonstrations of the power of our Sovereign God throughout the whole congregation. Almost everyone was weeping and praising the Lord at the same time. It was awesome! Is there something going on out there now that I have not heard about? Tabernacles is to be the icing on the cake. Must we settle for less than Pentecost?
The introduction of Tabernacles will be an earth-shaking event. We will not need the ministers to notify the press, the radio will not have to broadcast it, nor the TV cameras will not be needed to report it—the signs will appear and declare the reality of the event. There has never been a Spiritual event that did not draw the attention of the world when it came.
When Pentecost came to Wales and to America at the turn of the 20th century, the sound of it went into every corner of the earth, but Tabernacles will be greater! So far, all we are hearing is a few confessions and that without witness. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. In the first place, tabernacles must be the crowning glory of Christ in his Body and built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ himself being the Chief Cornerstone. But what is the foundation of this building?
In the sixth chapter, the mysterious writer of Hebrews gave us the true foundation along with seven distinct doctrines that are landmarks of the Church. The sixth chapter starts in the middle of a paragraph; therefore, we must go back to chapter five and read Hebrews 5:8: “Though being a Son he learned obedience from what he suffered, and being perfected he became the Author of eternal salvation to all those obeying him, having been called out by Yahweh as a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek, of which we have much to say and hard to interpret since you have become dull of hearing. For indeed because of the time you are due to be teachers, you need to have someone to teach you again the rudiments (principle) of the beginning of the oracles (utterance, spoken word) of Yahweh, and you have become in need of milk and not of solid food: for everyone partaking of milk (existing on a milk diet) is not skilled in the word of righteousness, for he is an ‘infant.’ But solid food is for those full-grown: having exercised the faculties through habit. Therefore, leaving (not disturbing, advance on, go beyond the infant state—the discourse (Greek Logos, or Word) of the beginning of Christ, let us be borne on into full growth, not hesitating, a foundation casting down of repentance of dead works and of faith upon Yahweh, of baptisms (water and Spirit), of teaching, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead ones, and of eternal judgment.”
The greatest message of all times was heralded almost two thousand years ago. It dealt with the basic and simplest principles of Love. Yet if the subject of unconditional love of one’s enemies and of turning the other cheek is brought up in a casual meeting of the spiritually elite, it is usually dealt with in a very light and joking manner. This principle doctrine is no joking matter; it is the foundational doctrine, and we will not build unless we build on it. It has been over 1900 years since this Gospel was first preached, and mainline Christianity is still scoffing at the foundation. If it has taken us this long to start to build on the foundation of unconditional love, how long must we take to finish the building?
There is a price to be paid for the pearl of truth—we must sell out completely. We are not just speaking of a yard sale to dump the unnecessary items. We are talking about selling out; about leaving behind all the carnal concepts we valued so highly (Matt. 16:13-14).
I would to Yahweh that we who are endeavoring to make our voices heard in leadership, would open our hearts in one accord and fall on our faces before him who never turns a deaf ear to his hungry congregation that is coming before him with an honest plea for wisdom and knowledge so they might lead his Body into more truth. It would be so wonderful to have a “one mind and one accord” leadership.
