Spiritual Victory

Spiritual Victory

In John 14:27, Yasha said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; not as the world gives give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.” And in John 15:20, he said, “…If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.”

Persecution is not sent upon the believers as punishment, nor is afflictions Yahweh’s method of testing your reactions.

Persecution is the sad results of cause and effect. Even when we are following in the path that Yahweh leads us, we will be subjected to the reactions of others just as Christ and all believers were before us.

Proverbs 16:2 says, “All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes…” Nothing can be more disturbing and displeasing to the adamic nature than being exposed to the Spirit of Truth, because it is destroyed by it. Scriptural truth leaves the carnal man uncovered and exposed and offers no legitimate excuse for his behavior. Introducing the higher principles of Love always exposes the crudeness and the lack in the principles of the lower, or base, nature of the carnal man and often invites violent reactions from evil spirits.

Persecution should be received with thanksgiving and joy, for the attacks from evil forces increases our opportunity to expose and dethrone them from their exalted position. We do this by standing in faith and truth, while calmly manifesting the love of Yahweh that has lifted us from that same death realm.

Robed In His Righteousness

Yahweh ignores our unworthiness and lack. He places us on the throne of his glory, robed in his righteousness.
Yahweh is love, and when the true sons are manifested it will be the greatest manifestation of love this world has ever witnessed.

If we are to be true and faithful witnesses, we must never overreact to the attacks made upon our flesh; that is, we must not allow it to become a personal war between others and ourselves. When our flesh is allowed to participate in the battle, it will demand that we take unlawful actions to defend ourselves. And once we engage in carnal warfare, we defeat our own spirit.

We must not feel paranoid and radiate defeat at the unfavorable reactions of others, but rather welcome it as an opportunity to reveal the principles of Love to those who are obviously unaware that such principles exist. If they hear of the principles, they will not believe it to be productive of happiness unless they see it manifested. In this realm of spiritual warfare, we are never judged nor defeated by material loss, neither are we considered victorious because we manage to gain materially.

The spirit and principle by which we war is the deciding factor of our success or failure. The purpose of our existence is to allow the Spirit of Life and Love to shine through us in the darkness of this world— darkness cannot prevail against Light. We cannot loose the battle unless we change sides and begin using wrong principles for selfish reasons.

Many ministers continue to measure spiritual success by material gain and worldly popularity. Christians often feel defeated in the face of want and rejection. This spirit of defeat is not an innocent bystander. In reality; it is a demon from the deepest pit. It is the one that comes to destroy our faith and trust in truth. It is a spirit of death that will consume our souls.

“Keep praying for us, for we are convinced that we have a good (clear) conscience, that we want to walk uprightly and live a noble life, acting honorably and in complete honesty in all things,” Hebrews 13:18 (The Amplified Bible).
