The Spirit Must Attract
Almost two thousand years ago Paul, catching a glimpse of the glory that shall be revealed in us, said, “…Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Yahweh has prepared for them that love Him. But Yahweh has revealed them unto us by his Spirit….” 1 Corinthians 2: 9-10.
It is required that we love Yahweh; this requirement is not a selfish demand from our Creator. Yahweh gives unto us freely of his own substance to enrich us: He is love, goodness, meekness, gentleness, righteousness, and holiness. We, quite naturally, must love and accept that which he is, before we can love, appreciate, or desire that which he gives us out of himself. He is pure unselfish love. He is life. This is the material substance of our inheritance in him. We must want that nature before it can become ours.
The Word, Spirit, Life and Truth are one in substance, and through Christ this truth was manifest, and made available to the creation. We cannot reject truth and yet receive life. If we accept truth we accept Christ, for the two are one. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Yahweh. In him was the life; and the life was the Light of man,” St. John 1:1 and 4.
(The good news to the believer)
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and holy nation, a purchased people: that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his (Yahweh’s) marvelous light,” 1 Peter 2:9.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Yahweh, to them who are the called according to his purpose,” Romans 8:28.
“He (Yahweh) that spared not his son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
“Who shall lay anything to the charge of Yahweh’s elect? It is Yahweh that justifies. Who is he that can condemn us? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of Yahweh, who makes intercession for us.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor heights, nor depth, nor any creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Yahweh, which is in Christ Yasha, our Lord,” Romans 8:32-39.
“And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If you Love me, keep my commandments,” St. John 14:13-15.
