5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a [scroll]
book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
The right hand is a symbol of power and salvation:
Ps. 18:35, You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.
Ps. 20:6, Now know I that the LORD saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
In sealing a literal roll (the scroll), it was wrapped round with flaxen thread or string, then a lump of clay was attached to it impressed with a seal. The seal would have to be broken by an authorized person before the book could be read. The information in the scroll was “sealed,” indicating that its writings were a mystery. In John’s vision, the Lamb was the only one worthy to break the seals.
The seven seals represent the totality of the messages written within and without the scroll. John’s vision was a revelation of the Anointed SAVIOR; therefore, the opening of each seal reveals his relationship with Yahweh and man.
2 And I saw a [forceful]
strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the [scroll] book, and to loose the seals thereof?
This forceful angel represents that cry within mankind to understand the mystery of himself and his connection with his Creator. Paul gave us an example in Romans 7:24 when he said, “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” Then he gave the answer to his own question, saying, their deliverance would come through the Anointed SAVIOR.
Rom. 8:18-23, I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the [creation]
creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of Yahweh. For the [creation] creature was made subject to [depravity] vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope, Because the [creation] creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of Yahweh. For we know that the whole [creation] creature groans and travails in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the [son placing] adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the [scroll]
book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the [scroll]
book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Here, we see the elders being forced to see their spiritual lack, their inability to understand the Father. The Lion, the SAVIOR, was able to reveal Yahweh to his creation; he had the authority to loose the seven seals and to reveal the mystery that was written within and without.
In verse five, the words “has prevailed” means to “subdue.” To “subdue” is to bring one under forcible control. Nowhere do we read in the scriptures that the SAVIOR ruled over human beings. But we do see here that there was no sin found in him—he ruled, or subdued, the flesh realm. He, the essence of righteousness, was worthy to open the seven seals and to reveal the mystery.
2 Cor. 5:21, … [the SAVIOR] who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of Yahweh in him.
5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four Living Creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Yahweh sent forth into all the earth.
Every altar that Yahweh commanded the Hebrews to build had horns. The horns on an altar were the most sacred part of it. They were anointed with the blood of the sacrifice for their most solemn sacrifices. Before they began their sacrifices, they anointed the horns of the altar for atonement for their sins.
Exod. 30:10, Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto Yahweh.
If the horns were broke off, it would desecrate the altar (Amos 3:14). When the altar was desecrated the priest lost his power, authority, and honor. The horns on the altar were a symbol of safety for those who clung to them (1 Kings 1:50). The horns symbolized the power and authority of the Holy Spirit.
The horns were used to anoint the people to become ministers or kings. They were given power and authority through the anointing oil.
1 Sam. 16:13, Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of Yahweh came upon David from that day forward.
Luke 1:68-69, Blessed be Yahweh God of Israel; for he has visited and redeemed his people, And has raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David. See also, 1 Sam. 2:9-10 and 2 Sam. 22:3.
The angel explained the seven horns and seven eyes when he said they symbolized the seven Spirits of Yahweh that went forth into all the earth. These seven Spirits are named in the twelfth verse at the time those around the throne sang unto Yahweh, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain [to have]
receive the (1) power, and (2) riches, and (3) wisdom, and (4) strength, and (5) honor, and (6) glory, and (7) blessing.”
The seven Spirits of Yahweh went out into all the earth through the hundred and twenty in the upper room after the Holy Spirit was given.
Acts 2:16-18, But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, said Yahweh, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Acts 2:38-39, Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of the Anointed SAVIOR for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as Yahweh our God shall call.
The Seven eyes of the Lamb symbolize the SAVIOR’s complete understanding of all things.
Matt. 11:27, All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
John 5:19-20, Then answered the SAVIOR and said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise. For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel. (See also John 14:26; 16:13.)
The Lamb’s seven horns represent all power and authority that was given unto the SAVIOR.
Matt. 28:18, The SAVIOR came and spoke unto them (the disciples), saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”
The Lamb’s eyes and horns together represent the manifestation of Yahweh—the seven spirits, which the angel introduced to the seven churches that was sent out into all the earth.
5:7 And the Lamb [the SAVIOR] came and took the [scroll]
book out of the right hand of him [Yahweh] that sat upon the throne.
Taking the scroll out of the “right hand” of Yahweh signified that the Lamb was given the same authority as the Father. He was worthy to give life and execute counsel and fulfill the purposes of Yahweh.
Matt. 26:64, The SAVIOR said… I say unto you, Hereafter shall you see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Ps. 17:7, Show you marvelous loving kindness, O you that saved by your right hand them which put their trust in you from those that rise up against them.
Isa. 45:1-3,This said Yahweh to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holding, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, Yahweh, which call you by your name, am the God of Israel. (See Psalm 60:5 and 63:8.)
Here, we see our SAVIOR taking the scroll, which symbolizes the Father’s authority given to him, to reveal the mystery of Yahweh unto all creation.
John 17:1-3, These words spoke the SAVIOR, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour is come; glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify you: as you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and the Anointed SAVIOR, whom you have sent.
Col. 1:15-19, Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell. (See also Phil. 2:5-11.)
5:8 And when he had taken the [scroll]
book, the four Living Creatures and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of [incense] odors, which are the prayers of saints.
“To fall down before the Lamb,” means to be in submission and honor to the Lamb. That which the four Living Creatures represent was also in submission to Yahweh who was on the throne because every aspect of the SAVIOR’s life was governed by Yahweh’s Spirit from his lineage to his many-membered body of believers.
- The symbol of the Lion reveals the SAVIOR came through the tribe of Judah; it signifies his authority as a man (man was given dominion) and at the same time, the power and authority of the Father because he is the Son of Yahweh:
Heb. 7:14, For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah…
John 5:25-27, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of Yahweh: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself; and has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
- As the symbol of the Bullock, the SAVIOR gave his entire life as a man on earth giving himself freely to the ministry of his Father:
John 8:28-29, Then said the SAVIOR unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
John 12:49, I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
John 5:19, Then answered the SAVIOR and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever he does, these also doeth the Son likewise. (Also see John 5:19; 14:10-11.)
- As the symbol of the Man, the SAVIOR took dominion over the works of Yahweh’s hands and ruled as the son of man (Gen. 1:26), but he was an exact image of his Father by his character and power (Heb. 1:3).
Isa. 9:6-7, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will perform this.
- As the symbol of the Eagle, the sons of Yahweh (the body of believers) are renewed in the strength and power of the Anointed SAVIOR.
Ex. 19:4-6, You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: and you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation….
Isa. 40:31, They that wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
John 1:1, 4, 12, 14, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Yahweh… In him was life; and the life was the light of men… But as many as received him [the Word], to them gave he power to become the sons of Yahweh, even to them that believe on his name… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Rom. 8:14, As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of Yahweh.
1 Cor. 12:12-14, As the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is the Anointed. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or gentiles (other nations), whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.
The harp is a symbol of praise and worship.
Ps. 108:1-3, O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Yahweh, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
The golden vials that were full of prayers represent the hearts of the saints, those who had gone through the fire and were molded into vessels whose prayers were powerful.
James 5:16, Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
9 And they [24 elders] sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the [scroll]
book, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to Yahweh by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And have made us unto our God reigning
kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
If each kindred, tongue, people, and nation had one elder taken from them to come before the throne, the number would be greater than twenty-four. The number twenty-four symbolizes the new government (represented by the 12 disciples), which was shadowed by the old government (represented by the 12 tribes). It took the revealing of the old to establish the new—the kingdom of priest. They were redeemed by the blood (life) of the lamb and made a kingdom of priests to reign on the earth. The twenty-four elders represent the government of Yahweh in his believers, which is the royal priesthood administration—the Melchisedec order.
The new song represents the new way of worship in the Kingdom realm. The believers no longer worshiped Yahweh by the ceremonial laws, but worshiped Yahweh in Spirit and in truth.
John 4:24, Yahweh is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
In the new administration, Christ is the Lord and King. Believers experience the Holy Spirit’s miraculous power of deliverance from sin. They can sing because of the richness of Yahweh’s glory that is felt within them. They can sing about his wisdom that is peaceable, gentle, and easily understood, yet it is far beyond man’s natural understanding.
The promise of being a kingdom of priests was given many hundreds of years before, but the children of Israel had not kept the covenant nor could they hear the voice of Yahweh. When the Anointed SAVIOR, our High Priest, returned on the day of Pentecost, he gave them the guide, the comforter, and the teacher that would open their understanding. (See 2 Tim. 2:12; Heb. 4:14.)
Heb. 5:9-10, And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; called of Yahweh an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
Remember the Spirit said, “And from the Anointed SAVIOR, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the first of the Kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and has made us reigning priests unto Deity (the SAVIOR) and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen,” (Rev. 1:5-6).
The saints were redeemed by the “blood,” the SAVIOR. They were redeemed by his “Life;” he is the Life, the Way, and the Light. To have life is to be spiritually minded (Rom. 8:6).
John 10:10, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 4:14, Whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 6:33, 35, 53-58, 63, The bread of Yahweh is he which comes down from heaven, and gives life unto the world… The SAVIOR said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst… Then the SAVIOR said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoso eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him. As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live forever… It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many [messengers]
angels round about the throne and the Living Creatures and the elders: and the number of them were ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to [have]
receive the (1) power, and (2) riches, and (3) wisdom, and (4) strength, and (5) honor, and (6) glory, and (7) blessing.
The Lamb was suitable to send forth the seven Spirits of Yahweh in the earth (in vessels of flesh and blood). Remember, these Spirits were introduced in the messages to the overcomers.
1. Power – #1411, miraculous power – something regarded as supernatural.
Acts 1:8, But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Rom. 15:13, Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
To the overcomers in Thyatira it was said—Rev. 2:26-29, He that overcomes and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall [shepherd]
rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter are molded: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.
John 1:12, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of Yahweh, even to them that believe on his name:
1 Cor. 4:20, For the kingdom of Yahweh is not in word, but in power.
Ps. 2:8-9, Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall [scatter them]
dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
Jer. 18:2-6, Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? says Yahweh. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel. See article “Pottery” in chapter 2:27 of this study for more information on pottery.
2. Riches – #4149, wealth as fullness; valuable bestowment.
Col. 1:26-27, Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom Yahweh would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is the Anointed in you, the hope of glory:
To the overcomers in Ephesus it was said—Rev. 2:7, To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the Tree of Life [the Anointed WORD, Wisdom, Righteousness], which is in the midst of the paradise of Yahweh.
Eph. 3:16-19, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That the Anointed may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of the Anointed, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of Yahweh. (See also John 14:6.)
3. Wisdom – the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17). This wisdom comes from Yahweh and is not the ability to make sensible decisions and judgments based on personal knowledge and experiences.
Eph. 3:9-11, And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in Yahweh, who created all things by the Anointed SAVIOR: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of Yahweh, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in the Anointed SAVIOR our Lord:
The only way a person can fellowship with Yahweh is to hear his Word by the Holy Spirit. Acquaintance does not equal fellowship with a person. There has to be some common grounds of knowledge and purpose, otherwise, the relationship is one sided. Fellowship consists of two people sharing in interest each one’s comprehension of the word of Truth. In order to have association with Yahweh, he must be in us and us in him for he is spirit.
John 14:20, Our Lord said, At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
James 3:13, Who is a wise man and endued with [intelligence]
knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
James 3:17-18, The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
To the overcomers in Pergamos it was said—Rev. 2:17, To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.
John 6:49-51, Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
4. Strength – #2479 – ability
Eph. 6:10-12, Finally, my brethren, be strong in Yahweh, and in the power of Yahweh’s [ability]
might. Put on the whole armor of Yahweh, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Mark 12:30, And you shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your [ability]
strength: this is the first commandment.
To the overcomers in Philadelphia it was said—Rev. 3:12, He that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
1 Tim. 3:15-16, But if I tarry long, that you may know how you ought to behave yourself in the House of Yahweh, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: Yahweh was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
5. Honor – # 5092, to esteem of the highest degree or dignity itself (dignity: the condition of being worthy of respect, also the high rank, position or honor)
Rom. 2:7, To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life. To have eternal life is to have Yahweh dwelling in you.
1 Cor. 6:20, For you are bought with a price [with honor]: therefore glorify Yahweh in your body, and in your spirit, which are Yahweh’s.
To the overcomers in Laodicea it was said—Rev. 3:21, To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
John 14:19-20, Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
John 14:1-3, Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in Yahweh, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many [abodes]
mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where “I am,” there you may be also.
Luke 17:21, Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of Yahweh is within you. (See also, 2 Tim. 2:12 and 1 Pet. 2:4-5.)
6. Glory – This glory is the manifestation of the Father through his believers—it is an action, not just a thought.
Col. 1:27, To whom Yahweh would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Eph. 5:26-27, That he might sanctify and cleanse the Church with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
John 1:14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Rom. 8:18-19, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the [creation]
creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of Yahweh.
To the overcomers in Sardis it was said—Rev. 3:5, “He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white [light] raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.”
Mark 9:2-5, And after six days the SAVIOR took with him Peter, and James, and John, and led them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was *transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them [Elijah]
Elias with Moses: and they were talking with the SAVIOR. And Peter answered and said to the SAVIOR, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
*Transfigured – #3339, metamorphoo (met-am-or-fo’-o); to transform (literally or figuratively, “metamorphose”):
7. Blessing – #2129, consecration, expression of approval, benefit or generosity. We are blessed with spiritual blessings.
1 Cor. 10:16-17, The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of the Anointed? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the Body of Anointed? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Eph. 1:3-4, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord the Anointed SAVIOR, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in the Anointed: According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
To the overcomers in Smyrna it was said—Rev. 2:11, “He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.”
James 1:12, Blessed is the man that endures [adversity]
temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.
Rom. 6:23, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift [the blessing] of Yahweh is eternal life through the Anointed SAVIOR our Lord.
John 11:25-26, The SAVIOR said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this?
1 Cor. 15:26, The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
This is the conclusion of the seven Spirits of Yahweh that the Lamb was worthy to give unto the Sons of Yahweh.
Eph. 1:17-23, That the God of our Lord the Anointed SAVIOR, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in the Anointed, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this [age]
world, but also in that which is to come: And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church, which is his Body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.
Who were the overcomers?
John 16:33, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have [tribulation]
pressure: but be of good cheer; I [the SAVIOR] have overcome [subdued] the world.
I John 4:2-4, Hereby know you the Spirit of Yahweh: Every spirit that confesses that the Anointed SAVIOR is come in the flesh is of Yahweh: And every spirit that confesses not that the Anointed SAVIOR is come in the flesh is not of Yahweh: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. You are of Yahweh, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
I John 5:4-5, Whosoever is born of Yahweh overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that the SAVIOR is the Son of Yahweh.
5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and
such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I [John]saying, (1) Blessing, and (2) honor, and (3) glory, and (4) power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for [ages and ages] ever and ever.
14 And the four Living Creatures said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that lives for [ages and ages]
ever and ever.
Here we see the ministry of the four Living Creatures and the twenty-four elders being heard throughout the ages by every creature because Yahweh will never forsake his creation (Heb. 13:5). There is nothing that can separate
Yahweh’s love from his creation (Rom. 8:38-39).
Rom. 14:11, As I live, said the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to Yahweh.
Phil. 2:10-11, That at the name of the SAVIOR every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that the Anointed SAVIOR is Lord, to the glory of Yahweh the Father.
Ps. 22:27-29, All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto Yahweh: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is Yahweh’s: and he is the governor among the nations. All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
The SAVIOR’s mission was and is to save the lost.
Luke 19:10, The Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
John 3:17, Yahweh sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
