Chapter six tells us of the first six seals that were opened that only the Lamb was worthy to open and reveal their mysteries. The seventh seal has not yet been opened. The Lamb revealed the mysteries of the seals through his very essence.
7:1 (And) After (amid) these things, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
The word “after” came from the Greek word “meta” meaning “amid,” which means “in the midst of or in the middle of.” Therefore, this phrase should have been written “In the midst of these things.” In other words, during the same time, when the six seals were being opened, four angels stood on the four corners of the earth holding back the truth that would bring judgment upon Israel. This symbolized Yahweh as he worked with Israel before he revealed himself to the rest of the nations. The truth came to the Israelite nation first, through the disciples, and then to the other nations. See more on this subject in Revelation 7:3.
The number “four” is a symbol of Yahweh giving himself to all humanity. On the fourth day, Yahweh created lights to give light upon the earth. These lights are symbols of Yahweh’s truths given in that day. One river flowing out of the Garden of Eden and dividing into “four heads” symbolize Yahweh’s Spirit of flowing out unto all the earth (Gen. 2:10). “Four” is also used in much of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness—its pillars and its furniture; denotes Yahweh’s relationship with man. The four horns on the altar symbolized the power, safety, and authority of man when he came into harmony with the Holy Spirit.
The four rings of gold on the Mercy Seat signified Yahweh’s Commandments (laws), the manna (Word), and Aaron’s rod (priesthood) bringing man into one mind and into one spirit with the FATHER (Ex. 25 and 26). In Peter’s vision, the four corners of the sheet joined together with all types of animals signified that all humanity was to receive the gospel of salvation (Acts 10:11-16).
In Revelation 4:6, the four Living Creatures represented the SAVIOR in all his stages as he brought salvation to humanity.
Since the earth is round and not square, it may seem impossible to find where the four corners are located. The scriptures below reveal how John and the seven messengers understood the term “four corners”.
Neh. 9:21-22, Yea, forty years didst you sustain the Israelites in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not. Moreover you gave them kingdoms and nations, and did divide them into corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.
Ezek. 7:2, Also, thou son of man, this said the Lord Yahweh unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
Isa. 11:11-12, And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
The words “land” and “earth” in the scriptures above are from the same Hebrew word “erets,” meaning to be firm; the earth at large, or a portion of land. It was translated into English as eight different words: country, earth, field, ground, land, way, wilderness, and world. With this in mind, we can see that the angels were not standing on four corners of a round globe, but were standing on the four corners that were the boundaries surrounding the land that Yahweh had given the twelve tribes. In Isaiah 40:22, Yahweh told Israel the earth was round; Isaiah prophesied to Jerusalem and used the phrase “circle of the earth.” The Israelites were limited on how much land they could possess, and it was Yahweh that set the boundaries.
The “wind” symbolizes the Holy Spirit as it moves; it is Yahweh’s Life-force. The four winds, which was the movement of the Holy Spirit, was not to blow on the earth (the mind of mankind), sea (man’s emotions), or trees (those in leadership), because knowledge had not yet increased in the earth; it would bring judgment upon those who were not ready to be judged. The spiritual winds would bless, correct, instruct, and cleanse the earth. Spiritual wind never moves against the principle of Love.
“Earth” represents the mind; the place where Yahweh plants his word of truth that it might bring forth the fruit of righteousness.
Mark 4:13-20, And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will you know all parables? The sower sows the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan comes immediately, and takes away the word that was sown in their thoughts, the mind (hearts). And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when pressure (affliction) or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble (are offended). And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
2 Cor. 4:6-7, For Yahweh, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh in the face of the Anointed SAVIOR. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the Excellency of the power may be of Yahweh, and not of us.
The seas of the earth represent the expressed emotions of mankind. In the scriptures below, the Word of Knowledge is represented as Living Waters:
Isa. 11:9, They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.
John 7:38-39, He that believes on the SAVIOR, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that the SAVIOR was not yet glorified.)
2 Pet. 2:17-19, These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. (Also see Psalm 29:1-4.)
The word “seas” is symbolic to the emotions of man being stirred up, but flowing waters, or Living Waters, symbolize Love, Life, and Truth as it flows out of the anointed believers.
Jer. 17:13, …they have forsaken Yahweh, the fountain of living waters.
John 7:38, He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Trees represent Yahweh’s spiritual Leaders:
Ps. 1:1-3, Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of Yahweh; and in his law does he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
Ps. 92:12-15, The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the House of Yahweh shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To announce (show) that Yahweh is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. (Notice that those who are planted in the House of Yahweh are not only righteous, but they are those who announce that Yahweh is upright.)
The angel with the seal of the Living God represents the Anointed Word. The Anointing (the SAVIOR) sealed the disciples as he blew on them after his resurrection (John 20:22). The SAVIOR, as the Anointed Word, was also the one that sealed the hundred and twenty in the upper room. The Anointing is still in the business of sealing all who come to the FATHER.
7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east (meaning rising of light), having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
The messenger that had the seal came from the place of the rising of Light—the manifestation of the Living Word. We also read of the SAVIOR’s star being seen in the east—in the rising of the Light. The SAVIOR came as the Light of the world. The east, the rising of the sun, symbolizes truth going forth from the SAVIOR—the Light of the World.
John 8:12, Then spoke the SAVIOR again unto them, saying, “I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (See also John 9:5.)
The seal of the living God is the Holy Spirit of Truth:
Eph. 1:13-14, In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
2 Cor. 1:21-22, Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is Yahweh; who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Eph. 4:30, Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.
The four angels that held back the four winds symbolized Yahweh working with Israel, because the other nations did not know him. The time had come for the gentiles to come into the knowledge of Yahweh so they, too, might also have a relationship with the FATHER. But it could not happen until Israel was sealed with the Holy Spirit; because they were the light bearers to the rest of the nations. The Holy Spirit came to Israel through the SAVIOR and then through the disciples, which all were from the house of Israel.
John 17:6, 12, 18-23, I have manifested your name unto the men (the disciples) which you gave me out of the world: yours they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept your word…. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled…. As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I (the SAVIOR) for these (the disciples) alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their (the disciples’) word; that they all (the converted and the disciples) may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they (the converted and disciples) also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me. And the glory which you gave me I have given them (the converted and disciples); that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect (complete) in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them (everyone), as you have loved me.
Isa 59:15-60:5, Yea, truth failed; and he that departs from evil makes himself a prey: and Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they reverence (fear) the name of Yahweh from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Yahweh shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob (Israel), saith Yahweh. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith Yahweh; My spirit that is upon you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed’s seed, saith Yahweh, from henceforth and forever. Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of Yahweh is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but Yahweh shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. And the nations (Gentiles) shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall reverence (fear), and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the nations (Gentiles) shall come unto you.
The forehead that was sealed represents the mind. The word “forehead” is a Greek word that means “as opposite the countenance.” The countenance is the face or the expression on it. The opposite of the face is inside the mind. The disciples were sealed inside their minds, not on or under the skin of the forehead or on their hands. Stamping a literal number on the forehead cannot bring deliverance. The Holy Spirit of promise came in their hearts and minds and changed their way of thinking and acting.
Heb. 8:10-11, For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahweh; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
It was said, “Hurt not the earth (the mindset of man), neither the sea (his emotions), nor the trees (the Levitical leadership), till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads (their minds).” The Levitical order had to stay in tack until the Holy Spirit came to replace the order.
When love was made manifest, the disciples recognized the hate in their own lives, which brought condemnation upon them. They were the manifestation of the Word even as the SAVIOR was a manifestation of the FATHER. They showed their persecutors what love could do under pressure by what they suffered from them. Without first receiving the Holy Spirit, the disciples would not have been able to reveal the Love of the FATHER to their persecutors. Their light shined into the darkness making a way for the rest of the nations to come to the Light.
The twelve tribes are sealed:
7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of 1Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 2Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 3Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of 4Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 5Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 6Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of 7Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 8Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 9Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of the tribe of 10Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 11Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of 12Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
The 144,000 symbolizes the spiritual house of Israel. They are the foundation of the new administration that came through the SAVIOR and the disciples. According to verse three, the servants of Yahweh, which are the twelve tribes mentioned above, had to have the Spirit of Truth sealed in their minds first.
To find what a number symbolizes, I researched to see how it was used throughout the Old Testament. The number “twelve thousand” was often used in reference to the armies of Israel. Twelve thousand represented the defense force for Israel. Twelve is also used as the number for government. Twelve times twelve thousand (144,000) symbolizes the deliverance of the whole house of Israel, because the whole house of Israel was sealed.
Num. 31:3-5, Moses spoke unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge Yahweh of Midian. Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall you send to the war. So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
2 Sam. 17:1, Moreover Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Let me now choose out twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after David this night:
I Kings 4:25-26, And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon. And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
The FATHER sealed the SAVIOR at his water baptism:
Matt. 3:16-17, The SAVIOR, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of Yahweh descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
John 1:32, John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him (the SAVIOR). (See also John 6:27.)
Before the rest of the believers were sealed, the SAVIOR sealed his disciples as he blew upon them right before his returned to the FATHER:
John 20:21-22, Then said the SAVIOR to them again, “Peace be unto you: as my FATHER hath sent me, even so send I you.” And when he had said this, he blew (breathed) on them, and said unto them, “Receive ye the Holy Spirit (Ghost).
The twelve tribes of Israel completed the old order and brought in the new order. It was no longer man’s natural bloodline that set Yahweh’s people apart from the rest of the nations; the Anointed within was their only hope of being that glorious manifestation of Righteousness (Col. 1:27). (See Romans 10:12-13 and Gal. 3:27-29.)
First, the disciples heard the good news of salvation, they believed what they heard, and then trusted in the SAVIOR. Then, the SAVIOR sealed them after his resurrection and before the day of Pentecost (Eph. 1:12-14).
The disciple could not be sealed with the Holy Spirit until the Holy Spirit came to them through the SAVIOR, the Anointed Word. The Holy Spirit came to the house of Israel first—then to the rest of the world through those that were sealed after them. The disciples had to be “filled” with the Holy Spirit before they could manifest the Holy Spirit—they could not give something they did not have. The SAVIOR stated in his prayer, before he was crucified, that the disciples were ready to go out into the world and spread the Gospel. All they needed was to be sanctified (blessed) with the Anointed Word, which the SAVIOR did when he filled them with the Spirit of Truth (the Guide, Comforter, and Teacher). (See John 17:6-26.)
John 20:21-23, Then said the SAVIOR to the disciples (them) again, “Peace be unto you: as my FATHER has sent me, even so send I you.” And when he had said this, he blew (breathed) on them, and said unto them, You receive the Holy Spirit: whose so ever sins you remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose so ever sins you retain, they are retained.”
The SAVIOR and his eleven disciples make up those who were sealed. Their sealing brought in the new order and ended the old. The Levitical order no longer manifested the power and operation of Yahweh. The Melchisedec order, which was righteousness in their conduct, peace as their state of mind, and joy in their hearts (Rom. 14:17), was established as the reigning force. The SAVIOR’s disciples became walking Bibles to those around them; they were the Word made flesh unto the rest of the world even as the SAVIOR was the Word made flesh unto them.
After the twelve tribes were sealed, Yahweh changed the way he dealt with Israel. Animal sacrifices no longer covered the sins of the people, Yahweh no longer met the priest at the mercy seat, and all the ceremonial ordinances became powerless. After the Holy Spirit came, the FATHER communicated with the people about their sins instead of passing over them. The Spirit of the Anointed (the Guide, Comforter, and Teacher) brought in a new government. The FATHER made his abode in houses not made by man. The Anointed within the Church was the hope of Yahweh’s glory being made manifest in them (Col. 1:27).
Through the Holy Spirit, it is possible to overcome sin in the flesh and be mature temples of Righteousness.
2 Cor. 5:1-4, For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of Yahweh, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
1 Cor. 3:16, Do you not know that you are the temple of Yahweh (God) and that the Spirit of Yahweh (God) dwells in you? (NKJ)
In Hebrews 8:10-11, we read that the new covenant, which Yahweh made with the house of Israel, was written in their hearts and minds instead of on tables of stone. Because the disciples were from the bloodline of Israel, they were of the house of Israel. When they were sealed with the Holy Spirit, all those before them were covered by that same seal, thereby, completing the Levitical order.
Heb. 11:39-40, These elders (v. 2), having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise (the Holy Spirit): Yahweh having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be completed (made perfect). (Those who were sealed with the Holy Spirit completed, put an end to, the old order.)
The Church (the army of the Lord) needed a new commander and chief, because they were losing the war against sin and death. They needed a new government to bring them into Life and peace; their carnal minds were limited to natural understanding and they could not understand the spiritual realm.
Paul understood this when he wrote his letter to the church in Rome, using himself as an example to help them understand how the new order worked. (Also see Matthew 5:48.)
Rom. 7:22-8-11, For I delight in the law of Yahweh after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank Yahweh through the Anointed SAVIOR our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of Yahweh; but with the flesh the law of sin.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in the Anointed SAVIOR, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in the Anointed SAVIOR has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Yahweh sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against Yahweh: for it is not subject to the law of Yahweh, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please Yahweh. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Yahweh dwell in you.
Now if any man has not the Spirit of the Anointed, he is none of his. And if Anointed be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up the SAVIOR from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up the Anointed from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
No weapon formed against the believers could stand with their new Commander on the throne.
7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
The great multitude of believers came through the disciple’s ministry. Notice the cry of the innumerable company of people saying, “Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, unto the Lamb.” Salvation had come at last! This proclamation came from the overcomers clothed in righteousness.
Rev. 3:5, He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my FATHER, and before his angels.
Standing before the throne of Yahweh in white, symbolizes the believers giving honor unto the Spirit of Righteousness by their righteous conduct.
At this time, palm leaves were connected with triumph and victory. Palms in their hands symbolized righteousness having victory over sin—they were flourishing in the Kingdom of Yahweh:
Ps. 92:12-15, The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the House of Yahweh shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To show that Yahweh is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
The Kingdom of Yahweh was established in the earth. Every race and every nation could come before the FATHER without a man-priest.
2 Cor. 6:1-2, We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that you receive not the grace of Yahweh in vain. (For he said, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I relieved (succored) you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
The message of the Kingdom brought a great multitude of people from all nations into the Kingdom of Yahweh. These believers were qualified by the Holy Spirit to come before the throne of Yahweh and to minister his Word to the nations. (See Acts 2:41-42, 5:14, and 11:24.)
This is the first time the word “salvation” is used in the book of Revelation. It will be proclaimed two more times. John was given the message of salvation three different ways.
Salvation is not an escape from one planet (earth) to another planet (heaven), but it is a deliverance from carnality. It is a process in which man is delivered from his condition of carnality; it is a deliverance from all that prevents him from coming into the image of the FATHER. Salvation is a condition of the mind when enlightened with Truth and Life—to be spiritually minded is Life and to be carnally minded is death. The Holy Spirit brings restoration to man causing him to be in harmony with Yahweh in his mind, body, and soul.
7:11 And all the angels (messengers) stood round (about) the throne, and (about) the elders and the four Living Creatures, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped Yahweh,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen.
In verse eleven, it seems as if angels suddenly appeared out of nowhere before the throne. But because we are dealing with a vision, every creature or item mentioned must have a purpose for being in the vision. King James’ translation of the Bible put the word “angels” where “messengers” should have been. These messengers were the multitude of believers that were just spoken of in verse nine that no man could number.
These messengers, while on their faces before the throne, proclaimed the same seven Spirits of Yahweh that were mentioned in Revelation 5:12. What they said to Yahweh revealed their hearts and their innermost thoughts; because, from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matt. 12:34).
They began by saying “amen” and they ended with “amen.” Amen means to be trustworthy and is often used to mean “so be it.” The multitude told the world that Yahweh was trustworthy and sure to bless, in glory, in wisdom, etc, by their actions and through their ministry. This was the beginning of the Church age—the Melchisedec Kingdom was set in order.
7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? (They were the believers of the young Church.)
14 And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of Yahweh, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne (shall) dwells (dwell) among them.
Yahweh, being Spirit, has no physical needs; he does not hunger nor thirst, nor does he get tired. He does not need to be transported from one place to another because he is omnipresent. How then is he served day and night? Paul wrote to the church of Rome that he served Yahweh with his spirit in the Gospel of the SAVIOR (Rom. 1:9). He told them in the same letter that they were also to serve Yahweh in their spirit as well (Rom. 7:6). In order to serve Yahweh with their mind, they had to be renewed in the spirit of their mind in righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4:23-24). Paul gave detailed instructions to the Colossian church on how to be renewed in the spirit of their mind:
Col. 3:10-17, And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but the Anointed is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of Yahweh, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as the Anointed forgave you, so also do you. And above all these things put on love (charity), which is the bond of perfectness. (Perfectness is the state of being complete.) And let the peace of Yahweh rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of the Anointed dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever you do in word or action (deed), do all in the name of the Lord our SAVIOR, giving thanks to Yahweh (and) the FATHER of (by) him.
1 Cor. 3:16, Know ye not that you are the temple of Yahweh, and that the Spirit of Yahweh dwells in you?
2 Cor. 6:16, …you are the temple of the living God; as Yahweh has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
The great tribulation was the great pressure the Church was experiencing because something new and unfamiliar had come on the scene; the Holy Spirit was now being manifest through them in strange and miraculous ways. It may be difficult for us to comprehend how the Israelites must have felt back then, but their whole religious system was under attack. They did what came natural—they fought those who came against the Levitical priesthood; therefore, it caused these faithful witnesses to be under great pressure, which means tribulation or persecution.
Acts 14:22, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Yahweh.
2 Cor. 1:3-7, Blessed be Yahweh, even the FATHER of our Lord the Anointed SAVIOR, the FATHER of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of Yahweh. For as the sufferings of the Anointed abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by the Anointed. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation.
The pressures that the Church and the believers were under were not caused by Yahweh’s hand but by the rebellious who came under condemnation when truth exposed the errors of their ways. The believers refused to stay in the old order of the dead letter and they became the “Living Word” of Yahweh.
Unbelievers thought they had destroyed the Word when it was manifested in one man, the SAVIOR, now that same Word was coming from a multitude. You can just imagine how devastated and defeated the leaders of the old order must have felt when the Word multiplied Himself in the earth. The
Seed—Truth—was planted in the earth and was sure to produce fruit. By killing the SAVIOR, the Jews caused Life to come out of death, causing the Word to be spread throughout the globe.
7:16 They (believers) shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and Yahweh shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Verse sixteen is not referring to natural food or water, nor is it referring to the natural sun or natural heat. The multitude of believers was being fed from the Master’s table. They did not need the Levitical order or the Ten
Commandments to be written on stone to hear Truth because his laws were written in their hearts. They drink from Living Waters. They did not seek man to comfort them; the Holy Spirit was their Guide, Comforter, and Teacher. Now there was no need for a man priest. (See Romans 8:13-14.)
John 7:37-39, The SAVIOR stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that the SAVIOR was not yet glorified.)
John 6:35, The SAVIOR said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst.
John 6:50-51, This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
The overcomers were promised manna from heaven:
Rev. 2:17, He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.
The multitude that stood before the throne was not dead; they were alive and spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom on earth. They were not go hungry for the word of Yahweh, because the Holy Spirit was feeding them heavenly manna. They no longer had to yearn for the SAVIOR to come, because he had made his abode in them. His substance was in them, manifesting through them. The Kingdom of Yahweh was within mankind!
1 Pet. 1:3-13, Blessed be the God and FATHER of our Lord the Anointed SAVIOR, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of the Anointed SAVIOR from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of Yahweh through faith unto salvation ready to be uncovered (revealed) in the continuance (last) of time. Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through different types of (manifold) adversities (temptations): That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the manifestation (appearing) of the Anointed SAVIOR: Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace (divine influence upon the heart) that should come into (unto) you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of the Anointed which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of the Anointed, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the Gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Anointed SAVIOR. (Notice how many of the seven Spirits of Yahweh are mentioned in this passage.)
