Revelation Chapter Twelve

In chapter 11 verse 19, judgment had come upon man’s carnal intellect; Yahweh’s dwelling place was opened and man’s intellect was elevated to a higher way of thinking. The ark of Yahweh’s testament—his spiritual food, laws, and authority—was now seen in the intellect of mankind, creating lightnings, voices, thunderings, great hail, and an earthquake.

Notice, from the last verse of Revelation 11 to 12:1 there was no lapses of time because 12:1 begins with “And”.

12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven (judgment came forth from the exalted realm of Yahweh); a woman (an intellect) clothed with the sun (the anointed Word), and the moon (laws and ordinances) under her feet (she walked in the ordinances), and upon her head a crown of twelve stars (Yahweh’s government):
2 And she (the spiritually clothed intellect) being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered (to bring forth the government of Righteousness).

When heaven (the exalted realm) was opened, we see the woman (the intellect) become a manifestation of that which was in the Ark of the Covenant.

This woman (this intellect) is in pain to deliver a manifestation of that righteousness which she could see. Her pain is not outside of herself, but within; therefore, her pain is not a symbol of persecution, but of travail to birth Life. She travails to birth a Man Child that has not yet been seen but is very much alive. As in all natural births, the timing of the birth was not left to her discretion but to the Life that was within her. This Life caused her (the intellect) pain and discomfort. She (the intellect) did not conceive and give birth in one day. This Seed of Righteousness and Truth had to grow day by day within the intellect of the believers until it produced fruit of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of Righteousness took its place in the throne-room of the mind of mankind. Life is symbolized here as a Man Child. The process in which the Man Child went through to take the throne is what Yahweh wants to convey here.
To be clothed in the sun means to be invested with the Word of Truth. The sun represents Yahweh’s communication through signs, miracles, wonders, dreams, visions, etc. The woman, the intellect that came through judgment, was empowered with the Word of truth. This intellect had knowledge of and access to the creative word.

The moon under the woman’s feet symbolized mankind’s intellect as they walked in their FATHER’s laws and ordinances. These were the same laws and ordinances that were given to the patriarchs and prophets even before Moses.

Gen. 26:4-5, And I will make your (Isaac’s) seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto your seed all these countries; and in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my ordinances (statutes), and my laws.

This converted intellect (the woman) had a crown of twelve stars upon her head. These stars represent the twelve patriarchs that brought mankind through the Levitical order. The number twelve is symbolic of Yahweh’s government. The woman (the judged intellect) was still under Yahweh’s government through the Levitical order. The twelve tribes of Israel represent Yahweh’s first administration given to mankind.

In the Old Testament, there are two women used as allegories which will help us understand the woman—the intellect that went through judgment. One is Eve, the mother of all living, and the other is Sarah. Each was told that they would give birth to a Seed (offspring of Life) that would have governing power over the enemy, the adversary.

Eve was promised that her Seed would crush the head, the governing power, of the serpent. She was told she would have great travail in birthing this Seed. This Seed’s government is a government of peace and righteousness and there is no end to it.

Gen. 3:15-16, And I will put hostility (enmity) between you (the serpent) and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; the Seed (it) shall bruise (overwhelm, snap, or gape) your head (government), and you shall bruise (overwhelm, snap, gape) his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply your labor (sorrow) and your conception; in labor (sorrow) you shall bring forth a son (as the family builder) (forth children); and your desire shall be to your husband (man as a mortal), (and) he shall govern (rule over) you.
Isa. 9:6-7, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting FATHER, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal (passion) of Yahweh of hosts will perform this.

Because of Abraham’s faith and obedience to Yahweh’s Word, he was also promised that he and his wife Sarah would bear a Seed that would possess the gate of His (the Seed’s) enemies; he would have power over his enemies.

Gen. 22:15-18, The angel of Yahweh called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, and said, “By myself have I sworn,” Yahweh said, “for because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son: that in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because you have obeyed my voice. (Also see Gen. 17:1-19.)

Paul understood that Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar were allegories.

Gal. 4:22-31, It is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid (Hagar), the other by a freewoman (Sarah). But Ishmael who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but Isaac of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Agar (Hagar). For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem (Sarah) which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bears not; break forth and cry, you that travails not: for the desolate has many more children than she which has an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what says the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman (Hagar) and her son (Ishmael): for the son (Ishmael) of the bondwoman (Hagar) shall not be heir with the son (Isaac) of the freewoman (Sarah). So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman (Hagar), but of the free (Sarah).

In the allegory above, Isaac symbolizes the promised Seed, which is Christ, the spiritual realm. Ishmael symbolizes the natural realm. There are only two realms—the natural and the spiritual and they are contrary to one another.

Gal. 3:17-29, This I say, that the covenant (with Abraham), that was confirmed before of Yahweh in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but Yahweh gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then served the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed (Christ) should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator…. …Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For you are all the children of Yahweh by faith in Christ the SAVIOR. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ the SAVIOR. And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Mount Zion was also used as an allegory of the woman travailing to bring forth a son to govern Yahweh’s people.
Isa. 66:5-13, Hear (intelligently) the word of Yahweh, you that respect (tremble at) his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let Yahweh be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of Yahweh that renders recompense to his enemies. Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a Man Child. Who hath heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth a son (her children). (Zion’s son was the builder of the family name. Zion had to travail to bring forth her son.) Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says Yahweh: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God. Rejoice you with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her: That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For this says Yahweh, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall you suck, you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

In the natural realm, our SAVIOR (the Anointed Word) was made manifest through the bloodline of Adam and Eve – Abraham and Sarah – Jacob (Israel) – Judah – David – Mary and then the SAVIOR. The woman (the converted intellect) is symbolized by Eve, Sarah, Israel, and Zion. All these allegories reveal the Seed being planted in the intellect of believers.

Gal. 3:16-19, Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He said not, “And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to your seed, which is Christ.” And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of Yahweh in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but Yahweh gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then served the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

The Seed was by faith and not through natural bloodline.

Gal. 3:26-29, For you are all the children of Yahweh by faith in Christ the SAVIOR.

When the SAVIOR came into the world as the Son of Yahweh and the Son of man, he did not change the hearts of the people. He did not deliver them from their carnal understanding. He did, however, show them the FATHER, the Spirit of Righteousness, through his actions and his principles. But that alone, could not deliver the people from the sins that had them bound in death. The FATHER’s offspring was his fruit, and the fruit fell to the ground to rot, but the seed of Life was in the fruit, ready to spring up from the ground in which it was planted.

The Word was rejected, crucified and buried in the earth where it ministered to those in death. The Word manifested in flesh rose again, but after forty days that flesh was not seen any more because the Word ascended unto the FATHER from which it came. Then on the day of Pentecost, this same Seed was planted in the intellect of the believers that tarried in Jerusalem. The Seed of Life began to change the hearts and minds of those that received the Comforter, Guide, and Teacher, which is the Spirit of Truth.

On the day of Pentecost, the people were “filled”, influenced by and supplied with, the Holy Spirit. The Seed of Righteousness was planted in earthen vessels. The Guide, Comforter, and Teacher made his abode in them. The Anointing, the Spirit of Truth, watered the Seed of Righteousness that had not yet produced fruit. The Anointing brought comfort, judgment, direction, and correction until the “fruit” of Righteousness was made manifest in Yahweh’s vessels.

John 14:16-20, I will pray the FATHER, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. (The SAVIOR was with them, but he was going to be in them as the Spirit of Truth.) I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. At that day (when he returns) you shall know that I am in my FATHER, and you in me, and I in you.
John 14:26, …Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the FATHER will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:7-13, I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to my FATHER, and you see me no more; of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

Yahweh created mankind to be in his image; therefore, he plants the Seed of the Word in them. The woman symbolizes the intellect where the Seed of Life is planted. It is the place where knowledge and wisdom is received and acted upon. It is the part of us that never dies, that goes beyond the grave. It is the part that communicates with the FATHER and yearns for truth and righteousness. It is the part that goes beyond book knowledge, the part of us that reasons things out. It is the drive that presses on to higher heights and deeper depths for truth. Paul explains it like this—

Rom. 8:19-23, The earnest expectation of the creation (creature) waits for the manifestation of the sons of Yahweh. For the creation (creature) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope, because the creation (creature) itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of Yahweh. For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the son placing (adoption, to wit), the redemption of our body.

The Word of Truth that was given through the prophets and the laws and ordinances was the same word that the SAVIOR taught when he walked on earth as a man, but it was dead letter. It did not produce Life in the listeners. The people were still in bondage to their sinful natures; therefore they translated Yahweh’s words to be likened unto their own beastly nature.

Even though the disciples walked with the SAVIOR for three and a half years, they did not understand Yahweh’s Word spoken to them through the SAVIOR. He told them he had more to say that they could not comprehend until the Spirit of Truth made his abode in them. (See John 16:12-13 & Luke 22:32.)

Rom. 8:6-11, To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity (the adversary) against Yahweh: for it is not subject to the law of Yahweh, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot be agreeable with (please) Yahweh. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Yahweh dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ (the Seed), he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up the SAVIOR from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (make alive) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.

Yahweh spoke to his creation from the beginning, but they could not understand his Word because they did not understand his Spirit. Their natural understanding gave his Word carnal interpretations that made Yahweh appear to have the same nature as carnal man and beasts (Rom. 1:23).

The SAVIOR came to reveal the true nature of the FATHER to mankind. For spiritual understanding, the Holy Spirit had to dwell in vessels of flesh and blood. The Word is read with natural eyes and heard with natural ears and is then stored in the mind—but it can only be made alive (quickened) by the Spirit of Love and Truth. The two joined together will produce the Son, the Seed—the Spirit of Righteousness.

Mary the mother of the SAVIOR was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and she brought forth the physical Son of Yahweh. She was still in bondage to her carnal nature until the day of Pentecost when the Spirit of Truth–the Holy Spirit—came into her mind.

12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red (flame colored) serpent (dragon), having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

The serpent, the devil and satan, is the deceiver of the whole world and he creates havoc wherever he goes. In Revelation 12:9, he is symbolized as a flame colored body; referred to as “red” in the KJV. The word “satan” is a Hebrew word that means “adversary.” In the O.T. of King James’ translation, “satan” was translated seven times as “adversary” and one time as “withstand” and the rest of the time it was left as “satan.” In Numbers 22:22 and 32, Yahweh referred to himself as “satan”, an adversary. In First Samuel 29:4, David is called “satan.” David calls Zeruiah “satan” in Second Samuel 19:22. In the N.T., the SAVIOR called Peter “satan.”

Matt. 16:21-23, From that time forth began the SAVIOR to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, “Be it far from you, Lord: this shall not be unto you.” But he turned, and said unto Peter, “Get you behind me, Satan: you are an offence unto me: for you savor not the things that be of Yahweh, but those (that be) of men.

In the above scriptures, Peter was filled with misguided compassion for the SAVIOR and did not want him to be killed. His compassion was not motivated by evil, but by his love for the SAVIOR. Peter’s desire for the SAVIOR to not be crucified came from his natural understanding; he did not have spiritual eyes to see the need for the SAVIOR’s death and resurrection.

The serpent in John’s vision symbolized the beastly nature in earthen vessels that is in opposition to the Anointed Word of Yahweh. Evil spirits, people, and even Yahweh himself, can be adversaries. At the beginning of creation, the serpent stood before Eve challenging Yahweh’s Word; the serpent was an adversary to Yahweh’s word. Ishmael, the son born from the bondwoman, persecuted Isaac, the son of the freewoman; Ishmael was an adversary to Isaac. The serpent in John’s vision was also challenging the woman that was to birth the Seed; the serpent was an adversary to the woman. A natural understanding always opposes the Holy Spirit—the Word of truth and righteousness. The natural mind, the mind governed by one’s five senses, is an adversary to a spiritual mind. The Levitical Priesthood became an adversary to the Melchisedec Priest when the priesthood changed.

In 1 Corinthians 2:12-16, Paul explains the opposing forces of the natural against the spiritual.

(Modified for clarity by Dave Garner.)
“Now, we do not have the spirit of the world, rather the Spirit from Yahweh to know (understand, clearly see) the things that Yahweh gratuitously gives (bestows upon) to us; and we preach not by speaking the wisdom which man teaches, but by speaking the wisdom the Spirit teaches, judging spiritual by spiritual. Natural (sensual) man does not receive the things of the Spirit of Yahweh, for they are foolishness (silliness) to him, and neither can he know, because they are spiritually examined (dissected, investigated). Now the spiritual (non-carnal) examines (dissects, investigates) all things, but the same is examined (investigated) under [by] no man; for who knows the Lord’s mind (will) that teaches (proves) him, but we that have the mind (will) of the anointed (Christ).”

The Levitical Priesthood was administered through those who were obedient to the laws, but their hearts were far from Yahweh. Their very natures were adversaries to the law they were commanded to serve. They stood as administrators of Yahweh as they offered sacrifices for their own sins as well as for the sins of others. Their sacrifices brought no relief to their bondage. The law was a constant reminder of their sinful nature. Their sinful nature was an adversary to the Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace. Those who were dedicated to Yahweh yearned for the Kingdom of Yahweh to come into their hearts—temples of flesh and blood.

Animal sacrifices gave only mental relief to the Israelites. Their trespasses were forgiven; but their offerings made no changes in their thoughts or their nature. The Lamb of Yahweh not only brought forgiveness, but he changed their natures to be like the FATHER’s by opening their spiritual minds to understand and experience righteousness.

In John’s vision, the serpent, the adversary, had seven heads. The number seven is symbolic rather than a numeric value. In the O.T., the number seven means to be complete, enough, or full; it illustrates “totality” or “completeness.” The number seven represents the fulfillment of the Levitical Priesthood, and the seven heads of the serpent represent the government of the fleshly nature that had the priests bound. This serpent revealed the sum of carnal man—his character, power, and strength.

The time had come that the administration was no longer to be in the hands of a mediator (that Levitical Priesthood order); the time of the man-priest was over. This administration had completed its purpose on the earth—it was the shadow of that which was to come. It was a visual representation of the power of the Anointed Word.

The Levitical Priesthood lacked in that it could not deliver the people out of their bondage to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life. All the laws and ordinances could not deliver the intellect that was in submission to death. The intellect of mankind needed a SAVIOR that had power over all other powers. The SAVIOR brought deliverance; he was the redeemer that the intellect had cried out for since creation.

Heb. 8:6-7, Now has he (the SAVIOR) obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Creation was in pain to deliver the Seed—the Man Child, the Fruit with the seed in itself—that was to shepherd the nations. The Israelite nation, as a whole, was refusing to accept the SAVIOR as the promised Seed; therefore, they were adversaries to the Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace.

Gal. 5:16-17, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would.
Each of the seven churches had a lack that kept them from progressing further into the Holy Spirit; therefore, each lack was an adversary to Yahweh’s Kingdom.

Ephesus lacked love—their lack of love was an adversary to the unloved.
Smyrna felt they were worthless, not rich—their feeling of worthlessness was an adversary to themselves.
Pergamos allowed the doctrine of Balaam to be taught in their church—spiritual idolatry and fornication were adversaries to their congregation.
Thyatira allowed the Jezebel doctrine to be taught in their church—spiritual idolatry and fornication were adversaries to the congregation.
Sardis was a dead church—their carnality was an adversary to themselves.
Philadelphia had little strength—their lack of strength was an adversary to themselves.
Laodicea was lukewarm—their straddling the spiritual fence was an adversary to themselves and their congregation.

The number 10 symbolizes human frailty and failure when in management. For example:

The 10 spies failed to see Yahweh’s power and provision, so they brought back an evil report (Num. 13:32). They were adversaries to the Israelites causing them to wander forty long years in the wilderness.

The 10 tribes failed to walk with Yahweh and to do his will. Therefore, they established a separate kingdom given to idolatry. They were adversaries to the house of Israel.

1 Ki. 11:31, And he said to Jeroboam, “Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: `Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon and will give ten tribes to you.
2 Ki. 17:22-23, For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they did not depart from them, until Yahweh removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away from their own land to Assyria, as it is to this day (the day that the 2 Kings was written).

The 10 lepers were unable to cure themselves, they needed the SAVIOR (Luke 17:12). The disease was their adversary

The 10 Commandments were necessary because of transgressions (Ex. 20:1-17; Gal. 3:19). They were adversaries to the carnal man.

The serpent had ten horns, which symbolized weakness and human frailty in the Levitical Priesthood. All the laws and ordinances could not bring Life to creation because the natural mind could not comprehend the message of Love and Righteousness that the Word of Life was conveying to his children.

Matt. 22:36-40, Master, “which is the great commandment in the law?” the SAVIOR said unto the Pharisee, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
Rom. 8:1-11, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ the SAVIOR, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ the SAVIOR has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Yahweh sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is Life and peace. Because the carnal mind is hostile (enmity) (an adversary) against Yahweh: for it is not subject to the law of Yahweh, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot be in agreement with (please) Yahweh. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Yahweh dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is Life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up the SAVIOR from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also revitalize (quicken) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
The Levitical order became an adversary to the Melchisedec order; the former order was in opposition to the new order.

The seven crowns were diadems rather than laurels. The crowns symbolized all the forces that were ruling in the temples of Yahweh that opposed and exalted themselves against the principles of righteousness, peace, and joy.

Eph. 6:11-12, Put on the whole armor of Yahweh, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

When the Holy Spirit speaks to a person through the Bible, prophecy, or dream, etc., the force against that word does not come from the outside; it comes from within one’s own intellect. Carnal forces war against the Word of Truth by placing negative thoughts within the mind. They have to be forced out of the mind before one can be obedient to the Word of Truth.

Carnal forces were coming from the kingdom of darkness; they had had free reign from the beginning. These forces are symbolized by the serpent. The serpent is enmity against the Holy Spirit and the scriptures say the carnal mind (carnal intellect) is enmity against the Holy Spirit. There are two minds in the temples of Yahweh—the natural (or carnal) mind and the spiritual mind and they war one against the other.

Rom. 6:3-16, Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Christ the SAVIOR were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the FATHER, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he lives, he lives unto Yahweh. Likewise reckon (ye) also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through the SAVIOR Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign (rule) in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto Yahweh, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto Yahweh. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? Yahweh forbid. Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
II Th. 2:1-4, Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Yasha Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Anointed (Christ) is now (at hand). Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as Yahweh sits in the temple of Yahweh, showing himself that he is God.
2 Cor. 10:3-6, Though we walk in the flesh (a natural body), we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through Yahweh to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Yahweh, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
All the spiritual battles fought, whether they are won or lost, have been within the mind of mankind. The battles that are won are won because of positive Life-forces overpowering the negative forces within.

12:4, And he  drew third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the serpent (dragon) stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

These stars symbolized the light bearers of the earth. In the O.T., Yahweh used the patriarchs, prophets, judges, priests, and some kings to speak to his people. They were the mediators between him and mankind. Being cast to the earth means that which was in the heavenly realm was brought down to the earthly realm. What made the judges, kings, etc. be in the heavenly realm was the measure of truth they had and their contact with the Heavenly FATHER. Without the truth, they were just like any other person.

Notice that the stars, the light bearers, were cast to the earth before the Man Child was born. Some of the judges, kings, priests, or prophets that corrupted Yahweh’s word, used the word Yahweh had given to them to exalt themselves; therefore, they took the word of Yahweh from out of the heavens and brought it down to the earthly level, into the realm of carnality—it was no longer Yahweh speaking to the people through them, but it was their carnal minds speaking; therefore, making the word of Yahweh of no affect.

Jer. 50:6, My people has been lost sheep: their shepherds strayed (have caused them to go astray), they have turned (them away) on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, oblivious of (they have forgotten) their resting place.

These wondering shepherds (leaders) turned away from their place of spiritual feeding when they were faced with the adversary; thereby, preventing their followers from learning how to use spiritual weapons of warfare and growing in righteousness. Corrupted prophets, priests, etc. kept the people in confusion by their carnal concepts and corruption.

Ezek. 44:10-13, The Levites who (that) are (gone away far) from me, strayed (when) Israel (went astray), which went astray (away) from me after (their) idols; bear (they shall even bear) moral evil (their iniquity). (Yet) They (shall) be ministers in my house (sanctuary), having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they (shall) slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they (shall) stand before them to minister unto them. Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into moral evil (iniquity); therefore (have) I lifted up mine hand because (against them), said the Lord Yahweh, (and) they bear moral evil (shall bear their iniquity). And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
Jude 1:11-13, Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

In this verse, the word “wandering” means “planet as it travels in space.” Joined with the word “stars,” it symbolized the leaders who stood as imposters of the truth. These wondering stars had no light within themselves; they used the Word for their own selfish gain.

A third of the stars, the leaders, were cast out of the exalted realm of Yahweh. A “third” symbolizes a portion of a whole. Leaders that were obedient to truth remained shinning stars as they allowed the Word of Truth to shine through them. They remained in the heavens, in righteousness, as Lights to those in darkness.

12:5 And she produced (brought forth) a Man Child, who was to rule (shepherd) all nations with a rod (staff or scepter) of iron: and her child was caught up unto Yahweh, and to his throne.

The woman, the converted intellect, produced a Man Child that was to “shepherd,” not “rule,” all the nations. This same Greek word “poimainao,” which means “shepherding” was translated “rule” in Matthew 2:6 when referring to the SAVIOR and three times in Revelation—2:27, 12:5, 19:15. (See Luke 17:7, John 21:16, Acts 20:28, 1 Cor. 9:7, 1 Pet. 5:2, Jude 1:12.) Isaiah prophesied of that Shepherd which was to lovingly lead his sheep to spiritual food.

Isa. 40:9-11, O Zion, that brings good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, “Behold your God! Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule (govern) for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”

The writer of Hebrews referred to our SAVIOR as the “Great Shepherd” (13:20). In Matthew 26:31 and John 10:2, our SAVIOR calls himself a shepherd; therefore, the rod in Revelation 12:5 symbolized the SAVIOR’s method of leadership, or governing power of the Man Child. The psalmist David explained it best.

Ps. 23:1-6, Yahweh is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of Yahweh forever.

Peter understood that Christ was their spiritual shepherd:

1 Pet. 2:21-25, For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judged righteously: who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed. For you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

The Man Child is singular, but he is a “many membered body.” In First Corinthians 12:12, Paul gives a picture of how Yahweh’s government is set up in the Anointed body of believers.

“For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.”

This Man Child represents Christ (the Anointed Word) moving in and manifesting the FATHER through his “many membered Body.” These are yielded vessels shepherding those who can hear and understand the Shepherd’s voice. Christ the Anointing ministers through vessels of flesh and blood as they yield to him. The Kingdom of Yahweh is made one with temples of flesh and blood. (See 1 Cor. 3:16.)

In Revelation 2:27, the overcomers will also shepherd with a rod of iron.
John 14:19-20, Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. At that day you shall know that I am in my FATHER, and you in me, and I in you.

John 14:1-3, Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in Yahweh, believe also in me. In my FATHER’s house are many residences (mansions): if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:23, The SAVIOR answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my FATHER will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our residence (abode) with him.

People are referred to as sheep. The rod of iron symbolized the SAVIOR’s strength. And sense the SAVIOR is the “Good” Shepherd, his governing power is Love; his love will never fail (Isaiah 53:6 and 1 Cor. 13:8).

The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will perform this.
Ps. 67:3-4, Let the people praise you, O God; let all the people praise you. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for you shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

According to Revelation 19:15-16, Christ shepherds his people with the rod of iron and in Revelation 2:27, the overcomers were to shepherd with a rod of iron. The temples of Yahweh that were made one with the Holy Spirit were to govern by the Spirit of Love and Righteousness. The overcomers were spiritual shepherds as the Holy Spirit was manifested through them.

2 Cor. 6:16, You are the temple of the living God; as Yahweh has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

The letter to the Hebrews tells of the change of priesthood and the position that the SAVIOR took in the Melchisedec Priesthood (Heb. 5:6-10; 6:20; 7:13-17).  Dave Garner’s translation of the scriptures might clarify this transition:
“At different times and in different ways in the past, Yahweh spoke to the fathers by the prophets. Upon these final days he speaks to us by his son (the SAVIOR) whom he appointed heir (inheritor) of all and through whom he made the ages. Who being the radiant brilliance, the glory and exact image of his essence; also bearing (carrying) all the power of Yahweh’s word, made clean of the offences (sins) and sat down at the right hand in exalted greatness; his name becoming so much more greater surpassing above the messengers (prophets, angels), so as to become heir (inheritor), Heb. 1:1-4. We truly have such a high priest who is seated at the right hand of the throne of greatness in the heavens, a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord set up not man, Heb. 8:1-2.”

Heb. 1:1-4, Yahweh, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son (the SAVIOR), whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the messengers (angels), as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Heb. 8:1-2, We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared of Yahweh, that they should feed (pamper, cherish, and strengthen) her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Once again, the number 1,260 is mentioned. It is also forty-two months and three and a half years. In order to understand what this “1,260 days” represents in connection to the woman, let us review the other places where this number is mentioned. Since 1,260 days and 3 ½ years are both equal to 42 months, I will use 42 months for all the instances used in the chart below.

In the scriptures, forty-two months symbolized a transitional time; a process or a period of something undergoing a change from one position or activity to another. It was the bringing to a close of one event to reveal another that was greater.

The SAVIOR ministered forty-two months and afterwards he was exalted and brought deliverance to mankind from their bondage to sin.

The Holy City was tread under foot forty-two months and afterwards it was seen in the heavens.

The two witnesses who represented the ceremonial laws and covenants, prophesied forty-two months and afterwards the prophecies were understood in the spiritual realm.

The two witnesses lay dead in the streets of Sodom (corruption) and Egypt (bondage), signifying man’s inability to understand their message. After forty-two months they were taken up into the heavens denoting man’s spiritual understanding was opened.

It took forty-two months for Jerusalem to become desolate so the New Jerusalem could take her place—the Levitical order ended and Melchisedec order began.

The woman in the wilderness was nourished for forty-two months, and afterwards she was transcended into the heavens. A metamorphosis took place.

Rom. 12:1-2, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Yahweh, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Yahweh, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be you metamorphosis (transformed) by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of Yahweh.
Matt. 17:1-3, And after six days Yasha takes Peter, James, and John his brother, and brings them up into an high mountain apart, and was metamorphosis (transfigured) before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
2 Cor. 3:6-18, Who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant (testament); not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: how shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excels. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remains is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remains the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old covenant (testament); which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it (the heart) shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (liberty). But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are metamorphosed (changed) into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

This woman represented the intellect that was under the government of Yahweh; she was clothed in truth and walked in the laws and ordinances of Yahweh under the Levitical order. Yahweh prepared a place for her to continue walking in his government, his truth, and his laws and ordinances, but not on the same realm she was before. She was not forsaken nor left desolate; she was nourished and strengthened in the wilderness even as the SAVIOR was spiritually nourished and strengthened in the wilderness before his ministry began.

Yahweh wasn’t finished with the woman (the converted intellect); he was preparing her for something that was not yet seen but would be seen at the end of her transition. The intellect was going to go through a metamorphose, a new way of thinking and reasoning; that which she was nourished with would become a part of her nature even as food becomes part of the body that consumes it.

The SAVIOR told his disciples, in John 14:1-11, that he was leaving to prepare a place for them so they would be on the same realm as he was.

Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in Yahweh, believe also in me. In my FATHER’s house are many abodes (mansions): if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And whither I go you know, and the way you know….
The Anointed dwells in many vessels of flesh and blood.

Christ said unto Thomas, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the FATHER, but by me. If ye had known me, you should have known my FATHER also: and from henceforth you know him, and have seen him….
On the day of Pentecost, the disciples looked the same on the outside, but there was a great change on the inside. The cowards became bold as the Word was quickened in their hearts. They had fed from the Master’s table, now their converted intellects were equipped to become one with the Spirit of Righteousness. The new Day had come and those filled with the Holy Spirit needed training as they walked in its Light. This was a time of learning and coming into maturity, into the image of the FATHER. This transition could not happen in a day, but would take time as the believers resisted the enemy, submitted to the Guide and Teacher, and were obedient to the Word of Truth.

In the natural, the wilderness was any place that was beyond the immediate reach of a city or village. John the Baptist performed his baptisms in the wilderness; sheep were taken care of in the wilderness. It was also a place where prophets wandered and were tested and trained. It was the place where the Israelites wandered for 40 years because they refused to trust in Yahweh’s word. The wilderness symbolized an opportunity for spiritual renewal.

Before the Man Child was born, the government of Yahweh was preformed in the natural with a physical building where man administered the ordinances. But the birth of the Man Child brought in Yahweh’s government—the Kingdom of Righteousness within and the Man Child (the Anointed Word) was the governor on the throne of the converted intellect.

The woman, the intellect, was going through a change from the carnal way of thinking and reasoning into the spiritual way of thinking and reasoning. The intellect was not hemmed in by the natural laws and ordinances of the Levitical order anymore. A new government was being administered by the Holy Spirit. The wilderness symbolized a realm beyond organized traditions and customs. It symbolized that place of freedom to explore and judge right and wrong. It was that place where the Holy Spirit guides, comforts, and teaches the intellect Yahweh’s Kingdom principles and ordinances.

John 16:7-13, Christ said to his disciples, “It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.”

12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his messengers (angels) warred (fought) against the serpent (dragon); and the serpent (dragon) warred (fought) and his (Michael’s) messengers (angels),
8 And exercised (prevailed) not; neither was their place found any more in heaven (the exalted realm).

The word “war” in verse seven means “to bustle.” To bustle is to have energetic activity. Notice that this war is in heaven, the exalted realm where Yahweh was dealing with mankind. Paul explained the war that was fought in the heavens in Ephesians.

Eph. 6:10-18, My brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of Yahweh, that you may be able to stand against the trickeries (wiles) of false accusers (the devil). For we wrestle not against humans (flesh) and kindred (blood), but against principalities, against forces (powers), against the rulers of this (the) darkness (of this world), against supernatural (spiritual) wickedness in high (heavenly) places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of Yahweh, that you may be able to withstand (to oppose) in the evil day (times, age), and having done all, to stand, stand therefore, having your loins (the procreative power) girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Yahweh: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching (thereunto) with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Keep in mind that before the Man Child was caught up into heaven, there had not been a war there, yet these messengers that Michael fought against dwelt there. After the Man Child took the throne, the war began. The war began after the Levitical order was over and the Melchisedec order was established.

The war began because the government changed. The casting out of the son of perdition had to come before the Man Child could take the throne. The son of perdition that opposed and exalted himself above Yahweh had to be dethroned (2 Th. 2:1-4).

Michael had to be someone the people had previous knowledge of; otherwise, this part of the vision would not have made sense to them.

Daniel’s vision of Michael:
Dan. 12:1-4, At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince (first in rank) which stands for a son (the children) (as the builder of the family) of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Dan. 9:24-27, Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince (occupying the front) shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
In Daniel’s vision, Michael is called a Great Prince; he is also the son that is the builder of the family name. Peter confirmed that the SAVIOR was the Prince, the Savior, and the builder of his FATHER’s name—he came in his FATHER’s name (John 5:43).
Acts 5:29-32, Peter and the other apostles answered and said, “We ought to obey Yahweh rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up the SAVIOR, whom you slew and hanged on a tree. Him has Yahweh exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a SAVIOR, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Spirit, whom Yahweh has given to them that obey him.

Notice that repentance and forgiveness was given to Israel. Here “repentance” means to have a reversal of decision, to think differently, that is, to reconsider. The word “forgiveness” means “freedom.” The Man Child was exalted above all other gods when he took the throne of his FATHER.

Isa. 9:6-7, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting FATHER, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will perform this.

The first covenant that was set up placed man in authority over the House of Yahweh. Man, with his sinful nature, governed the House with the works of his flesh as his weapons of warfare. Murder, greed, lust, wrath, malice, etc. were used to gain authority over their enemies and over those who were weaker than they. The people were motivated by the same works of the flesh as their enemies. Man was fighting man—flesh against flesh. When the SAVIOR came, he taught a principle that was not only foreign to the fleshly mind, but was impossible on the natural realm to fulfill. They were to love their enemies and turn the other cheek when treated wrong. Without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, this principle sounded absurd and impossible to fulfill. The entire chapter of Matthew five reveals the principle of Love that the SAVIOR taught.

Matt. 5:38-48, You have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: but I say unto you, that you resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue you at the law, and take away your coat, let him have your cloak also. And whosoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him twain (two). Give to him that asks you, and from him that would borrow of you turn not you away. You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, (bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you), and pray for them which (despitefully) use (you), and persecute you; that you may be the children of your FATHER which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust…. Be you therefore perfect, even as your FATHER which is in heaven is perfect.

As long as the Word remained in a single flesh body (the SAVIOR’s) it was limited. Natural eyes could see the principle of Love working through him, but the people’s carnal understanding could not comprehend how this principle of Love could destroy their enemies. The works of the flesh satisfied them in the past; therefore, they saw no need for a change, they could not feel agape love nor did they know truth.

Through the Levitical order, the government of Yahweh was managed by the fleshly nature of man; this management was not a management of love and forgiveness, but of force and destruction. When Christ sat on the throne, he changed the management principles. Instead of the believers hating their enemies, he gave them power to love them. Instead of killing their enemies, he healed them. The principles of the fruit of the Spirit took the throne and the works of the flesh were dethroned; they were replaced. The works of the flesh were not exalted in the eyes of the believers anymore; they were not valued as weapons of warfare against the adversary.

On the day of Pentecost, the Kingdom of Yahweh was no longer just a visual manifestation through the life of the SAVIOR; it was also a feeling and a power within the believers. What the SAVIOR taught became a part of their nature. The Kingdom of Yahweh was now in the mind of mankind; the government of Love was in the House of Yahweh.

The adversary could not exercise his principles in the Kingdom of Yahweh. There was no place found in the heavenly realm for adversity and turmoil, only righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit reigned in the heavens.

12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and the accuser (Satan), which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his messengers (angels) were cast out with him.

This serpent had deceived the “whole” world; there wasn’t anyone that was not deceived. Yet we read in the O.T. that there were men and women who were dedicated to the cause of Yahweh. Noah was perfect in his generation, Abraham was the father of faith, Israel was Yahweh’s chosen people, David was the apple of Yahweh’s eye, and many more. How can it be that the adversary had deceived them along with the rest of the world? They were dedicated to Yahweh after their own carnal understanding. They had no clue of their FATHER’s true nature nor of the principles which he governed by. It would have taken a born-again experience for them to be able to comprehend the true nature of Yahweh.

John 3:3, The SAVIOR answered and said unto Nicodemus, Verily, verily, I say unto You, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of Yahweh.
1 Peter 1:21-23, Who by him do believe in Yahweh, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in Yahweh. Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of Yahweh, which lives and abides forever.

Our SAVIOR came in the name of his FATHER, which means that he came in his FATHER’s nature and authority. He was one with the FATHER in Spirit, in his emotions, and his actions (John 14:10-11). His mind, body, and soul were in agreement with Yahweh’s purpose and principles, otherwise he could not have come in his FATHER’s name. He was Yahweh’s Word. The Word forgave sins, healed the sick, raised the dead, delivered the oppressed from the demons that tormented them, and much more wonderful acts of love and compassion. The Word told the people to turn the other cheek, love their enemies, walk the extra mile, feed the hungry, and most of all to do unto others as they would have others do unto them. All these manifestations were Yahweh’s principles of love; he was revealing himself to man through the Word, the visible manifestation of Love.

Before our SAVIOR came on the scene, the whole world accused their Heavenly FATHER of many ungodly acts. They interpreted his laws and principles with their own carnal understanding and acted accordingly just as they do today. They killed their enemies instead of loving them. They hated those they thought Yahweh hated and attributed their wrath to be of Yahweh and like Yahweh. Adversity ruled in the heavens, the exalted places, but when the Man Child set on the throne (the mind of mankind), he cast out the adversary that had been deceiving the whole world and the Kingdom of Righteousness was established in the earth, in earthen vessels of flesh and blood. When the deceiver was cast out, deception was cast out. Deception is a lie and only Truth can destroy it.

Acts 2:29-36, Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that Yahweh had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; he seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

This SAVIOR has Yahweh raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of Yahweh exalted, and having received of the FATHER the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has shed forth this, which you now see and hear (the Holy Spirit speaking through the believers). For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, Yahweh said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, until I make your foes thy footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that Yahweh has made that same SAVIOR, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Anointed.

Heb. 8:1-10, Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man….But now has he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises….For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, said Yahweh, “I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.” (Here, I have only written verses 1, 2, 6, & 10 please read the rest of the verses.)

Heb. 12:1-2, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto the SAVIOR the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of Yahweh.

12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now is come salvation, and strength (miraculous power), and the Kingdom of our God, and the power (be superhuman) of his Christ (Anointed): for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”

In chapter seven, verse ten, salvation was declared for the first time. It was immediately after the twelve tribes were sealed. A great multitude proclaimed salvation. This multitude was not going to hunger nor thirst anymore because the Lamb was going to feed them (v.16, 17). Now we see salvation being declared again.

This time salvation is voiced when the accuser of the brethren is cast out of the heavens. Even though this looks like two separate instances, it is actually a witness of the first just said and illustrated a little differently. We will see a third declaration of salvation in Revelation 19:1. A matter was to be established out of the mouth of two or three witnesses (Deut. 19:15).

In this verse, the term “day and night” was not referring to a twenty-four hour period. It was referring to the continual revealing of their unrighteous hearts before salvation was made available. This condemnation wasn’t caused by Yahweh pointing his finger and saying, “I condemn you, and you, and you.” The Ten Commandments condemned the patriarchs before Yahweh because their ways were not his ways. Their lust, greed, hate, malice, anger, etc. condemned them.

Isa. 55:7-9, Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto Yahweh, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
John 3:17-21, Yahweh sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of Yahweh. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Yahweh.

Before the SAVIOR (the Light) came, the faithful patriarchs were obedient to the ordinances, but their hearts were bound by their fleshly nature. They were not under condemnation as long as they obeyed the ordinances, but they still needed a heart change. The laws and ordinances could not deliver them from their sinful nature. Even the priest had to make a sacrifice for his own sins before he could sacrifice for the sins of others (Heb. 7:27). The people didn’t need a savior to forgive their sins, their sacrifices provided that year after year; they needed “deliverance from” their sins. The followers of Yahweh were bound in sin no matter how many sacrifices they burned. They needed a deliverer.

In John’s vision, he was again witnessing the day of Pentecost: the Holy Spirit came, heaven opened up, and the day of Salvation had come to them with strength and power. Satan was cast out of heaven. The adversary that deceived the minds of mankind since the beginning of creation was defeated in this new Day and miraculous power was given to the believers. They had superhuman strength to heal the sick, raise the dead, and forgive sins even as their SAVIOR had. Not only was there a manifestation of the Holy Spirit on the outside, but there was a change that took place on the inside—they loved their enemies, turned the other cheek, and walked the second mile. No longer did Peter want to use his natural sword to slay his enemies, he used the spiritual Sword (the Word) to win his battles. Once again the Word was made flesh, but this time it didn’t walk among them, it walked in them—the believers became the manifestation of the Word; the Word multiplied into thousands and then down through the ages into billions.

The Kingdom of Righteousness was now governing the house of Yahweh (whose house we are). The 120 in the upper room experienced the Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy within; they experienced a deliverance from their sinful natures. They were now members of the Kingdom that the Word Made Flesh had told them about—the principles taught in Matthew chapters 5 through 7. For three and a half years the disciples heard and saw the Word, now they experienced it. The adversary that had deceived them was cast out of heaven—the Anointed SAVIOR cast out the son of perdition, the man of sin and became the power within that changed their hearts and minds. This Kingdom of Righteousness was for “whosoever will.”

II Th. 2:1-4, Now we beseech you, brethren, by presence (the coming) of our Lord the Anointed SAVIOR, and (by) our gathering together unto him, that you be not soon shaken in mind, or be frightened (troubled), neither by spirit, nor by word (what was said), nor by letter (the message) as from us, as that the day of Christ is now (at hand). Let no man deceive you by any means: for (that day shall not come,) except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of Yahweh, showing himself that he is God.

The reason there was no war in heaven before the day of Pentecost, was because the people did not know they could be delivered, nor did they have the power to overcome if they had. They did not resist their evil thoughts or their beastly actions. They did not know there was a better way to live until the Word came in Flesh and revealed it to them. The SAVIOR first had to reveal what the Kingdom of Righteousness was before mankind could desire and fight for it. His very nature condemned them, therefore, forcing them to see their unrighteousness. Then when their hearts were condemned because of their inability to live righteously and they sought for deliverance from their sinful nature, the SAVIOR was able to deliver them from their unrighteousness. On the day of Pentecost the believers received power to overcome their enemies in their minds and hearts.

Luke 24:49, Behold, I send the promise of my FATHER upon you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you be invested (endued) with power from on high.
Acts 1:8, You shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Those filled with the Holy Spirit became witnesses of the SAVIOR—acting and talking just like him when he was the physical manifestation of his FATHER on the earth.

12:11 And they overcame him (the serpent) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

When Michael, the angel, came on the scene, the believers overcame the accuser of the brethren by the blood (life) of the Lamb. They were born again believers becoming matured sons of Yahweh.

John 1:11-12, He (the SAVIOR) came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of Yahweh, even to them that believe on his name:
Rom. 8:14, As many as are led by the Spirit of Yahweh, they are the sons of Yahweh.
I Jn. 3:1-3, Behold, what manner of love the FATHER has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of Yahweh: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of Yahweh, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

Overcoming the adversary by the word of their testimony signified that the war was not fought and won over night, but by overcoming one obstacle after another. They were willing to crucify the old man of sin, the son of perdition, thereby, becoming a new man in the image of the FATHER. They were being renewed in the spirit of their minds. They were doing away with corrupt conversations by putting on the new man that was created in righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4:22-24).
The SAVIOR’S followers could not give something they did not have or understand; they first had to experience the Kingdom of Righteousness within in order to minister the message of righteousness. Unlike the Levitical order that was man against man, eye for an eye, etc., the Melchisedec order was Love against hate, Wisdom against carnality, Righteousness against unrighteousness.

12:12 Therefore rejoice, (ye) heavens, and you that dwell in them. Woe (to the inhabiters of) to the earth and (of) the sea! for the traducer (devil) is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time. (This verse should have read: “Therefore rejoice heavens and you residing in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the traducer descends unto you possessing great wrath knowing how puny an opportunity he has.”)

Until Christ came, the serpent, the adversary, possessed the minds of all people. What the serpent lost was his power, not time. His efforts were made puny when he was cast out of the heavens because those that received the Holy Spirit had the Comforter, Teacher, and Guide showing them how to work peace with one another as they came into one mind and one accord. Those that received the Holy Spirit of Truth rejoiced, but those who were still bound by their carnal natures continued to be deceived by the serpent (carnality).

Rom. 15:4-7, For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to the Anointed SAVIOR: that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify Yahweh, even the FATHER of our Lord the Anointed SAVIOR. Wherefore receive you one another, as the Anointed also received us to the glory of Yahweh.
Acts 2:46-47, And they (those converted), continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising Yahweh, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Eph. 4:22-24, Put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that you put on the new man, which after Yahweh is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The earth symbolized the fleshly realm and the sea symbolized the voices of the great multitude of nations; they were voices from the deep that were full of superstitions and carnal interpretations of Yahweh’s Word and his principles. Without Truth, the mind remained in bondage to deceptions produced by carnality. Only Truth sets the mind and heart free from the lies that have it bound (John 8:32; John 14:17).

John 14:6, The SAVIOR said unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the FATHER, but by me.
John 16:7-13, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

12:13 And when the serpent (dragon) understood (saw) that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the Man Child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

When the serpent, that carnal order that stood as an adversary against truth, realized that he could no longer operate in the heavens, he sought to persecute the woman (the intellect), but he could not because she was given two great eagle wings to soar above carnality.

The number “two” symbolized communication whether from man to man, or from Yahweh to man. There were two witnesses with two lamp stands communicating the Word of Yahweh; the two lamp stands signified that they were communicating the Word of Truth. The two olive trees represented the priesthood—Yahweh’s communication through man. The laws (covenant) and prophets communicated Yahweh’s truth to mankind. The two edged sword of the Spirit communicated the truth of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Ark of the Covenant with its two cherubs signified Yahweh’s communication with man. The Old and New Testaments are Yahweh’s communication to man. The disciples were told to go out by twos to communicate Yahweh’s Kingdom to man. When two is divided there is no communication.

“Eagle’s wings” was the symbol of strength:

Isa. 40:29-31, Yahweh gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Two great eagle’s wings symbolized the power and the communication the woman (the converted intellect) received in the wilderness. To be nourished by Yahweh was to understand his Word; Truth nourished her and gave her strength to fly above carnality. John said, “You shall know the truth and the truth will make you free.”

The woman (the converted intellect) was going into the wilderness to feed from the Master’s table. Here, the intellect was going to be able to communicate with the FATHER. Paul said it best when he prayed for the saints at Ephesus.

Eph. 1:17-20, That the God of our Lord the Anointed SAVIOR, the FATHER of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

Hosea prophesied of the woman.
Hosea 2:14-23, “Therefore, behold, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her. I will give her her vineyards from there, and the Valley of Achor (trouble) as a door of hope; she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.
“And it shall be, in that day,” says Yahweh, “That you will call Me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer call Me ‘My Master,’ For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals (deities), and they shall be remembered by their name no more.
In that day I will make a covenant for them (the deities) with the beasts of the field, with the birds of the air, and with the creeping things of the ground. Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, to make them lie down safely.
“I will betroth you to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in loving kindness and mercy; I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall know Yahweh.  “It shall come to pass in that day that I will answer,” says Yahweh; “I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth. The earth shall answer with grain, with new wine, and with oil; they shall answer, ‘Yahweh will sow’ (Jezreel). Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’ ” (NKJ)

The woman is nourished in the wilderness by Yahweh for 1,260 days (verse 6), or for a time, and times and a half time. The woman does not flee into the wilderness twice, nor was she fed two separate times. The 1,260 and the time and times and half time have the same meaning—this was the woman’s (the converted intellect’s) time of transition from the natural understanding into the spiritual understanding.

Yahweh is Spirit, therefore, he will not feed the woman, the converted intellect, physical food but will feed her Spiritual food. He is clothing her in Truth. She was faithful to the laws and ordinances, and she is now under the government of Yahweh. She was nourished and protected by the Holy Spirit. The converted intellect gave birth to the Man Child, but was then separated from him as soon as he was birthed. The Man Child was caught up in the heavenly realm and she (the converted intellect) is left in the presence of her adversary (the Levitical order).

All the laws and ordinances were made up of words. These words expressed the desires of the FATHER’s heart toward his creation. But the carnal mind gave the laws and ordinances a different connotation than Love; it caused the people to hear a different message than Love. The FATHER cannot change; he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The intellect had to be converted in order for her to comprehend Yahweh and his intentions toward mankind. The Holy Spirit communed with her and gave her the ability to overcome all weakness (sin), to overcome the ignorance that kept her in death.

Now we see the woman in a place prepared by the Holy Spirit. She is not fed from the dead letter; she is eating that which gives Life, and she becomes what she eats.

This transformation into life is seen down through the years when a yielded vessel is under the anointing bringing forth the Anointed Word. The vessel is not the Anointed Word, but the Anointing flows through the vessel. The Truth that is accepted and acted upon gives Life to the yielded vessel. The Anointed Word does not instantly bring Life to the vessel; it is through hearing, believing, and allowing the Word to become a part of one’s nature one truth at a time that causes this mortal to put on immortality.

Rom. 8:6-11, To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against Yahweh: for it is not subject to the law of Yahweh, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please (be agreeable with) Yahweh. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Yahweh dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of the Anointed, he is none of his. And if the Anointed be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is Life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up the SAVIOR from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up the SAVIOR from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.

12:15 And the serpent (adversary) cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

This adversary that came against the woman (the converted intellect) was all the carnal interpretations of the Word. These adversaries tried to convince her that she was being fed by false doctrine, but the woman was not influenced because she had the Spirit of Revelation.

Isa. 59:20, When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Yahweh shall lift up a standard against him.

12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the serpent (dragon) cast out of his mouth.

Since the time the Levitical order ended, there has been a flood of new doctrines claiming to be “The Church” and having “all” truth. Most of the doctrines are contrary to each other; therefore, they can’t all have “all” truth. They can, however, have some truth. These small systems of beliefs often rise up against each other working havoc in the religious system, which are the results of carnality. It was this same adversary that worked among the churches in the day of John. Paul explained the effects of carnality to the church at Corinth.

1 Cor. 3:1-3, I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able. For you are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?

The earthly minds of mankind used the words of the serpent (carnal mind’s) to create many interpretations of so-called “truth;” from these, religious wars were spawned. These religious systems were clannish and they separated themselves from those who believed differently. This flood of doctrines did not prevent the converted intellect from being nourished; she was able to rise above the false doctrines and continue to be fed from the Master’s table. She flew above them; therefore, she was not a threat to them because they did comprehend the truth she had.

The churches of Ephesus, Pergamos, and Thyatira were exposed to false doctrines in their congregations: the doctrines of the Nicolaitans, Balaam, and Jezebel caused adversity in their churches, yet they still retained a measure of truth.

12:17 And the serpent (dragon) was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Yahweh, and have the testimony of the SAVIOR (the word “Christ” was added).

When the Man Child was birthed, it brought a change in the priesthood. The change brought about confusion to many. They had been faithful to the laws and ordinance, but they could not accept the Anointing within. They did accept the SAVIOR as a man and as the Son of Yahweh, and they accepted his death for their sins. We also see this today. There is acceptance in the death and resurrection of the SAVIOR, but the Holy Spirit within is rejected and believed incapable. The “remnant of her seed” was those who accepted the ending of the Levitical order but refused the Kingdom of Righteousness and, therefore, continued to have problems with the adversary as they remained in their carnal way of thinking.

Through the Comforter, Guide, and Teacher the intellect receives power within to overcome sin. Without a Comforter, the mind has no relief from grief and anxieties caused by immaturity. Without a Guide, the intellect is lost; unable to find the Kingdom of peace and righteousness in the Holy Spirit. Without a Teacher, the intellect remains fruitless.

The remnant of the woman’s seed, longs for a way of escape from their adversaries. To accept that there was no overcoming sin in the flesh was to remain in confusion and bondage to their fleshly nature. This is that “remnant” of the woman that the serpent (carnality) made war with. There would not have been a war if the minds of the remnant had not been torn between what they knew was right and their inability to perform it
